Good replacement for iPad1-3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought iPads 1, 2 & 3 on launch day. When the iPad4 came out, I said "ho hum" and didn't upgrade. After spending almost $1000 on my iPad 3 (64GB with Verizon LTE), I didn't feel the need to spend another grand only 6 months later. I even had held off upgrading to iPad4 when it launched until my wife said she wanted a better iPad (she had a 2 model), so I elected to upgrade me and give her the old iPad3. It's the same great retina screen with a faster processor and lightning connector (much easier to insert and yank-proof). What really is nice about it is the weight - I can see why they decided to call it the iPad Air! I use my iPads as Personal Hotspots - they have all-day battery life compared to the hotspots sold by the cellular carriers. Now with the new plans, all of the major carriers allow devices to be used as hotspots with no extra charge (remember: it goes against your data plan!)

Greatly simplifying my life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am weaning myself off a 7 pound laptop...and I can't believe I waited this long. The Air2 is so light, so thin, so fast, so powerful and so much more convenient. I'm an architect, therefore I draw and refer to images and data constantly. My clients are already impressed with my ability to pull up there drawings, sketch over them while while they are talking and show them a similar image of what their space will look like. The simplicity of iOS and the quality of the drawing apps mean I work quickly and efficiently...and the beautiful design reinforces my focus on high quality architectural and interior design.

The best of the best!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's what you want, a 128gb iPad Air with AT&T cell service. All at a great price of $499! That's what the base 16gb wifi is. DUH! This was a no brainier. The even include a 6 month trial of anti virus. Don't really need it with Apple tho. They have the most secure os, the best apps, and it's great how the apple world all works together. If you want it to. Your phone picture can go to your iPad, your TV, etc. apps share, movies, everything. Speaking of movies, I have 45 on my iPad, with my music collection, tons of photos, apps, book, and I am just now hitting the 1/2 way mark in that 128gb of storage. My wife loves being able to surf the Internet in the car. Now that the shared data programs are around, you could set up your phone as a hot spot, so you may not really need the cell feature. It's really worth the money.

Powerful and Sleek
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an iPad2. This iPad Air is so much nicer. It is thinner, lighter, and overall size is smaller even though screen size is same. Fast with tons of memory, this was a huge upgrade from what I had for about what I paid for the iPad2 when new. Screen resolution is fantastic, speakers are improved. A fantastic tablet.

Ipad air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing has SO MUCH ROOM to put stuff on. I bought a pair of these for my kids for $499 each on closeout. They originally had a 32g ipad mini. And we were constantly removing stuff and re-downloading stuff with a 32g. I couldn't imagine a 16g at all. The bonus is the AT&T connection built in. I don't care for ATT and have Verizon, but I did get them a pre-paid plan to use. They work great though. Expensive, but they work great. My son was a little bit behind before with his motor skills. But after getting them ipads a few years ago. His motor skills are awesome now. I just wish I could use iTunes on other hardware besides only apple stuff. That's my only complaint.

A great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a toss up between this and a Samsung tablet and I went with the iPad. There are a few reasons why I chose the iPad the first being the Apps, hands down the iOS operating system has the better more well polished apps. Android has come a long way and I actually use a samsung Note 4 for my daily phone but for a tablet experience the iPad is still the way to go. Resell value will also remain high and I got this at an excellent deal so it was a win win. The screen and battery life are also top notch. And I only use the front camera for skype and an occasional selfie (please do not use your iPads back camera as your go to camera, your smartphones is so much better.)

an iPad that should last you a few years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've went through an iPad 3 64gb wifi, iPad 4 128gb Wifi/Cellular, and now an iPad Air 128gb Wifi/Cellular. The Air 2's have a speaker flaw, wifi connectivity issue, and touch sensibility issue. Even though the Air 2 is thinner, faster, TouchID, 2GB ram, and Apple Pay, the Air 1 has a larger battery and its' cheaper without the speaker and screen issues. If you don't need the latest and the greatest, this tablet should last you for quite a while. Let's see what the Air 3 brings, otherwise, Air 2's are a poor purchase in my opinion.

Great upgrade from iPad 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been rocking the iPad 2 wifi 32gb black since it came out. The upgrade to iPad Air is the best choice I made. Retina screen and the 128GB storage is well worth it. As for getting the 4G LTE by AT&T is only for times when I really need to access the internet when I'm on the go. But sadly there is no unlimited data plan. Other than that. The iPad air works fine for my needs.
