This is my first iPad, but I'm definitely impressed. Very light weight and easy to use. Disappointed in the lack of third party cases.

Very convenient for my son. This one is replacing the first generation iPad. Much easy to handle, much lighter to hold, the sounds quality is great. Look forward to getting a replacement for myself in the future.

I was very hesitant in purchasing the new iPad Air because I just last year, meaning December 2012 purchased the iPad 4. The iPad 4 had a serious sound issue December 2013 and thanks to the Apple Care plan I purchased it was replaced with a new iPad 4. The true downfall of the iPad was the WEIGHT! Very heavy and it felt awkward trying to position it and hold it in or out of the case. Reluctantly, I did not feel comfortable with the 4, especially after having a sound issue almost a year to the date of purchase. So, I purchased the NEW iPAD AIR and I absolutely LOVE IT! Just holding it feels different as night and day in comparison to the iPad 4! Now, I have to spend more money for a case to fit the Air. But it's all good!
