Amazing employees!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Finally! I’ve been waiting for this email to give me a chance to review the product and show appreciation as well. Review of Jay Pasztor: Jay is the best! I would definitely consider him our go-to Best Buy Guy! My son’s iPad went kaput! and his Nana and PaPaw wanted to get him an iPad for Christmas, but he had to have it before Christmas because Nana said, “He can’t be without his books! He loves audiobooks!” Because of the release of the 2020 iPads, choices were slim-pickings and my son had to have silver. Jay found a 2019 silver that had the right memory and was on sale! Jay for the win! Review of Super Awesome Young Lady at the register when I picked up the iPad: My son is non-verbal, has quad CP (non-volitional movement of arms and legs) and a little immune-compromised so I wouldn’t let him go in to pick it up himself. I asked the lady if she would help me make receiving this gift a little extra special. She came out to my van on my side and asked, “Are you Jaden Hill?” I said no and pointed to my son. She went to the other side and asked him, “Are you Jaden Hill? “No” look at me, “Yes” look away.” He looked almost to the back seat so she could be sure of his answer, lol! She placed the iPad very carefully in his arms so it wouldn’t fall and read a note I wrote saying Merry Christmas from Nana and PaPaw. She then went a little extra. She let him look at it for a second and asked if he liked it, “No” look at me, “Yes” look away. His head flipped to the back again so she got her answer. I was so grateful for the interaction, letting him identify himself and asking a question about the gift. As we were leaving, my son’s nurse mentioned that she must have a special needs sibling because she was so natural in speaking to him! After dropping them off at home, I ran back up to Best Buy to say thank you and to tell the manager about the interaction. I was so disheartened because she was already gone for the day, but after speaking with the managers and another employee there, we’re thinking it was Jasmine. I’m hoping someone will find out if it was her and recognize her for being so awesome! This is the Best Buy in Cypress, Texas. Thank you from a very grateful mom!

Improved iPad Air
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Many of the improvements of this iPad Air over previous versions are somewhat subtle. However, after working with two previous versions of the hardware, the screen response to tactile interaction (touching it) is improved and more accurate. The full frontal screen adds additional viewing area. The touch button is integrated into theon/off button and does a better job of detecting fingerprints than even the previous version with the facial home button. Overall well worth the improvements. The speed of the processor takes full advantage of the newest processor. Overall, well worth the added cost!

Great productivity tool
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Great productivity tool for note taking, just you need to buy a pen separately. My iPad purchase did not come with a pen. Even I am lefty, screen sensibility is exceptional for people like me. Screen has no issues separating pen and hand sensibility. Surely all your everyday apps are working swiftly with this device. Processor speed is top notch. I have Bluebeam and BIM 360 for work and their running performances are similar to my laptop. Mark up process is working great. It's not only an entertainment tool but also top notch productivity tool.

Excellent iPad
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Excellent iPad since the introduction of the original iPad Air. It’s thin, light, bright and very fast, much faster than my original Air but a little larger screen with 10.5 comparing to a 9.7 inch. Thickness is about the same looking with the naked eyes. Two big differences are screen size and screen clarity. Buttons and charging port are practically the same. Another plus is that you can still use your old charging cable to charge this iPad.

Great iPad, sweet spot in lineup.
|Posted .Owned for 9 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The Air is definitely the sweet spot in the apple lineup. If you need a tablet device, you can’t go wrong with one of these. Super fast, with the latest generation processor (at the time), rivaling the much more expensive Pro line in many ways for features while being only somewhat more expensive than the lower end iPad line. I highly recommend one of these if you can’t spend quite as much as is asked for the pro iPads but need a bit more than is offered in the lower line. The cellular feature is less useful; most always we are on WiFi, so we have yet to actually enroll and pay for cell service for this device.

Ipad Air vs. Ipad Pro
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Got the Ipad Air as opposed to the Pro model, as it has plenty of capacity and speed for my usage (am not a Gamer for eg.). Works fine, but I wish it would allow me to change the Wallpaper from my Amazon Photos to allow a bigger customized selection. Also, got the Cellular model only because it had 256GB. vs. only 64GB with the one without Cellular; and was $100 off. I do not expect to use the Cellular much if at all, as mostly use the Ipad on wifi. And do not want to sign up for any cellular plan, as not worth it. Apple should have a 128GB option without Cellular as the Pro Model does.

IPAD Pro

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this for granddaughter for Christmas. Searched everywhere for product. Most places indicated it wouldn't be available until the end of January, February, or even March. Best Buy had it the quickest. My granddaughter got it in time before she returned to college. She loves it portability and quality.

Q: QuestionWhen you purchase an ipad with wifi plus cellular package, does that mean you MUST have an active cellular package? I want to know if I want to purchase this with the option to use cellular or it is a must?
Asked by LaurieO.
- A:Answer No, you do not have to activate a cellular package to use the iPad. We have an older model in use for YEARS and never activated the cellular feature. It was the only one in stock at the time so we had no choice but to select it.

Q: QuestionHi, is this the most recent iPad Air model or the previous version?

Q: QuestionWhich one to choose Wifi +Unlocked or Wifi. I have internet accessibility. Dont need a phone feature. Need it to connect pick up from my router walla. Thanks
Asked by LalaB.
- A:Answer The unlocked you don’t need a Cellular service or you can go to any service you want. If you pick WiFi you can only use WiFi. The Cellular WiFi you get SIM card and are on phone service you are more secure and you can use internet anywhere. It doesn’t mean you use phone on iPad and the Cellular WiFi is better trade in

Q: QuestionDo you need wifi service to use this ipad
Asked by lyn.
- A:Answer You don’t have to have WiFi service to use iPad. You can use a SIM card from your cell phone on this iPad Air to surf the Internet. You can also connect to the internet without inserting a SIM card from your phone by just using your cellphone as a WiFi hotspot. Another way to connect to the internet without having a WiFi service is using public places that have WiFi service such as bookstores, coffee shops, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Target, or any Fast food places such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell. I hope this answers some of your questions.

Q: QuestionDoes your store have a lay-a-way plan?
Asked by Blackblackman.
- A:Answer Hi, Best Buy doesn’t have layaway but you can open a credit card account with them. Once you have a Best Buy Credit Card, you can make purchase and pay a minimum payment without paying interest within a specific period, usually between 9 or more months. You also earn points when using the card to make purchases in Best Buy and outside Best Buy Store. I hope this answers some of your questions.
