Apple - iPad® mini 2 with Wi-Fi - 64GB - Silver/White

The iPad Mini is a great addition to apple line of products. This tablet provides ease of you with its portable size and design. This device can easily be used by a family of all ages. The built-in camera takes very good pictures and the front facing camera is great for video chat! This device is also great for streaming homemade videos and photos taken on the iPad with the Apple TV product. Siri the built in virtual assistant makes pretty much every task a breeze like sending emails, iMessages, setting reminders and calendar invites! I would definitely recommend theiPad Mini to parents, students, and individuals of all ages!

My wife and I purchased this for a cross-country trip, so the kids would have something to watch on the airplane. (at least that's her story... I think she wanted an iPad). Setup: We got it as an open box item. Highly recommended. Saved $40. We're Apple converts, and have other Apple devices (1st get iPad, iPhones, Macs), and setting it up on her iMac was a breeze, just getting the settings correct is a trick if you use one Apple ID for iTunes, and the other for iCloud. Here's the trick: When setting up the device, use the iCloud settings, then in iTunes, change it out to the purchasing account. This way, you have all of your music/apps/movies with the account that buys stuff, and you still get messages on your i-Device. Use: Well, it's an iPad... use it like one. One thing I put in the "bad" column is the lack of cover. It would be nice to have a cover included, and then we can get one we like afterward. Nothing like having an out-of box experience of a $700 device that one drop will, at bed scratch it, and at worst, break it. End: Well, the wife and kids made it across the country, and the iPad was well used to watch Frozen, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs I/II, and there were no issues... and now, Mrs. thequick has a new iPad and loves it!

I love the iPad, I've gone from version 1, to version 3 and now to version Mini Retina. I traded the version 1 for a 100 gift certificate and upgraded to this mini. By far the best iPad I had to date. At a minimum get the 64 gig version. My version 3 is only 32 and doesn't have enough space. I'm constantly having to pull of things. With the 64 is has enough extra room to keep several ripped movies and other things without running out of space. Get a case. Eventually its going to drop. Have a Case that goes all the way around is what you want. Don't just get that Apple magnet cover. The back will scratch up. Once, you get hooked into the Apple world, you will be hooked. I was a forever Windows guy......haven't been that way for about 8 years now. Both iPad and there computers work great together. Once you go Mac, you'll never go back.

Purchased a 64GB iPad mini with retina screen to upgrade my wife's original mini which had been slowing down under iOS 8. After I saw Apple introduce only minor improvements in the iPad mini 3 I rushed to BB to find this model on a deep discount. We've been very happy with it. Much faster than original mini and the screen looks great. Perfect size for my wife and I don't mind using it either. We are an Apple family and this new mini fills all our needs. Very happy with it and would strongly recommend this model, especially if you can find a left over iPad mini with retina display (now called iPad mini 2) at a good price.

Great value. The new mini 3 adds only a finger print sensor, and another color option. Not worth a hundred dollars more then the mini 2. Use that hundred for more GB. The size is great, plenty big still for surfing web playing games and watching movies, plus now i can touch anywhere on the screen still while holding it with my hands on each side, I can reach any part of the screen with my left or right thumb with out having to let go of one side or the other, this makes using it while laying back in bed a pleasure. No more holding with one hand while tapping with my finger on the other hand. This becomes magnified even more when playing games. Some games I would have to play on a table to be able to competitively hit all the buttons(virtual) or whatever was required for the game. Not anymore, perfect size for gaming. I have had the ipad 2 and 4, this mini 2 is my favorite by far.

I traded in my iPad mini (1st generation) for this and boy was it totally worth it. Not only does this new iPad mini retain the things I liked from the old iPad mini (such as the form factor and weight), but it greatly improves on the things that I didn't like about the old iPad mini (such as the slow speed and okay resolution). This new iPad mini simply fills in the gaps of what I didn't like about the old iPad mini. The price is a bit high, I admit, but is totally worth it when you consider things in the long run. The product support from Apple is second to none and the App Store blows other app stores out of the water. Also consider the App Store provides a quality Free App every week and you easily find other daily free apps using a free app a day app. Not only that, the build quality on this thing tells you it can last as long as you want it to. This new iPad mini is simply perfect in every way

My purchase of the iPad mini with Retina display was purely amazing while all other retailers in town and out were out of stock. When I walked in with a semi down look on my face feeling like an idiot asking for the impossible I was asked what size for storage and what color I would like because they had pretty much all of them in stock. I went with the 64GB and its a good sizing for watching HD movies and having some games. I ended up buying and Xbox One and a PS4 from Best Buy as a result of my one time shopping experience and instead of expecting rejection I've learned that while not typically the most cost effective shopping experience that with these price locked items I was able to just walk in and go home with gear in hand. It has given me higher expectations for Best Buy. The is supposed to be a product review so sorry for the derail. The product is awesome and I have zero regrets.

I love the iPad Mini 2. I got the 64gb because I wanted enough room to have some videos downloaded since we only got the Wifi version. Our daughters love theirs too. I have no complaints so far. Battery life is great compared to my iPhone 4S. I was worried the screen would be too small and I would regret not getting the larger iPad version. But it's a great size. It's easier to bring places and easier to hold. I also like that you can use it upside down, unlike my iPhone 4S. I do that when I'm in bed and have it plugged in because I don't want to ruin the lightning plug (like my iPhone one that is destroyed from bending). Also, I got it at a GREAT price. It was a one-day sale and I'm so glad I decided to do it because the prices went back up the next day. NO REGRETS HERE.
