Apple - iPad® with Wi-Fi - 32GB - 3rd Generation - White

I knew it was refurbished when I purchase. yet I didn't expect it had dent. It is for sure one of 2 I purchased was dropped from height since I could see it has dents. It seems like the seller bought out totally damaged ipad and changed the components and the glass. One was in perfect condition and one is not. I would just keep it since I don't know if I can get better deal. But for the money, it was not worth. Totally disappointed with this bad one. I will buy a case for kid to cover up these dents.

I love my new iPad! I'm actually using it right now for this review. The screen is beautiful, it's easy to use, and its just a great device to have. I watch my shows that I've missed from my abc and NBC apps. I check my email and text with other iPhone/iPad users and I like that I can get my magazine subscription on it also. I haven't used the FaceTime feature yet but I can't wait to try it out on here. The iPad is also very fast and responsive. This was not the only tablet I checked out while at Best Buy. I must admit I'm a bit shallow and the other tablets didn't look as good as this one did and the Samsung whatever seemed like it was geared more toward business minded people. I start school in January so I'm gonna see how useful my iPad will be for me then. I plan on using the apps created for students. If you get an iPad I promise you won't be disappointed.

Love it! Wish I hadn't let my son talk me out of it and into a Kindle originally. He may be right: at my age I probably won't use it to its full capabilities. But I'm enjoying it far more than I did my Kindle Fire (it was just a bit too small for me, and I prefer Apple's version).

Playing games, browsing the web and, watching Netflix is a breeze, and the retina display, makes everything look 100 times better, would recommend this new iPad to anyone that wants to play games, and be equally productive! 5 stars for sure.

I bought this for myself for school and to use with my young daughter for education and entertainment. The iPad is what you make of it. I have found note taking apps for school that work well with a good stylus. I can read textbooks. I even have syIlabi and other handouts accessible on my iPad3, and I can take written or printed notes on them. I can study for licensing exams. I can check and send messages between classes. If I didn't need lab and medical apparatus, I would have everything I need for school in one ultra-portable device. Unfortunately, the microphone is not powerful enough to record lectures, which means I must either buy a separate device or buy an attachment device. My daughter has been learning reading, math, art and other skills on the iPad. She is motivated and engaged in her learning. Unfortunately, she also discovered video games. When I take her somewhere with a long wait, she can play, learn, or watch shows and movies. She likes it so much that she asks to take it to bed with her at night. The iPad3 has met all my needs as expected with bonuses. There did seem to be a problem when I downloaded iO6 that the battery held charge for less time.

Where to begin... This device has everything I've been looking for! Before I decided on this iPad, I was torn between either purchasing another laptop or settling for an Android tablet. I dodged a bullet on both accounts for two reasons. First, many laptops I reviewed had too many flaws, many extremely poor battery life and too much heft to their frame. As a graduate student who is constantly on the go, the last thing I need is to injure my back on account of a 6 lb laptop bundled with heavy textbooks. As for the Android tablets, many of them came with better features than the the iPad such as expandable memory, larger screens, and better pricing. However, the biggest drawback of these devices is the Android store. Before greedy Google purchased the Android store, it was very easy to navigate. Now, it is a shell of its former self with very confusing and agitating interfaces. The same came be attributed to the Android tablets themselves which have clumsy formats. The iPad 3rd generation resolved all these problems for me. Overall, the battery life is top notch. I am an avid gamer who plays GTA 3 religiously. This games requires a lot of memory and battery life but I can still get nearly 8 hours of my iPad while playing GTA AND browsing the web in between. The screen resolution is crisp; however, this depends on the type of app. Some apps do not appear crisp while others are pristine. Other great things about the iPad: it's extremely lightweight and the biggest bonus is the App Store which contains Apps for literally anything!! The App Store is very easy to navigate as well. Finally, the iPad is ready to go out of the box. I attached it to my laptop and because iTunes constantly backed up my purchases, apps and songs, I was able to download my content to my iPad in under 45 minutes. In contrast, my mom's Samsung Galaxy Tab was very difficult to set up out of the box. We had to restart its system twice!!!! Overall, this is an outstanding tablet. My initial concern was the price. If you're seriously considering buying a tablet I strongly suggest you conduct thorough research because the iPad's price point is a bit much compared to similar devices. However, Apple has an excellent reputation of producing durable devices. Snag one before they release the iPad 200 LOL

My first apple product. Set up was easy. Love how fast the camera speed is and the clarity. Overall, I am very happy with my buy.

My husband and I bought this for each other for Christmas. We both love them! We bought them when the sale was going on and we couldn't pass up on the price. We use them constantly, that's why we have to charge the battery so much. So many apps, camera is great, and it has siri. This is the first iPad I've had, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is so much storage, you can download anything. I use netflix a lot, another reason the battery gets low fast. But the retina screen shows the movies in great quality. If you are looking to purchase an iPad, I would highly recommend this one. You will not be disappointed!
