I have a desktop, laptop, and iPhone and I waited awhile before giving in and buying the iPad, but I'm glad I got it! I use it to browse the internet, keep up with emails, as a remote control for the TV and like a "kindle" to download and read books. It's lightweight and easy to use, and with my "older" eyes, much easier to see than my iPhone screen. I highly recommend this fun and useful device!

Although This item was bought new when it came out, I still have it in use daily at our house. I don't know about others, but I find the value on this iPad to be stellar. As they do not make this model any more, it would have been a great buy for anyone looking at tablets... Pricey... but bulletproof
