My old phone was an i6. Probably due to its age, Apple discontinued software updates to it some time ago. Due to the older software version, I was unable to get a lot of the newer apps on my phone. So I was forced in a sense to upgrade in order to get the functionality of the newer technology.
Since I needed a new phone, and I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon, I purchased the latest edition, the i13. (FYI, the i6 is worth $0 in credit toward an upgrade.) I've had it now almost a month, a ton of new features to discover and learn. Given my brief experience, and the fact I received no credit for my old phone, giving it a 'good' rating at this time.
Had a 7 Plus go dark -- literally, scrambled for a repair solution...no current back up in icloud... and no recollection of apple ID password...3 different repair shops stated not repairable--- found a 4th who was able to revive--viewed as divine intervention. First made a backup and went to the local Best Buy--- to "finally" update my phone-- they had one in stock unlike other Att store or etc..
The iphone 13 is lot smaller and more comfortable then the 7Plus to carry, and the screen size was nearly identical.
Got used to no home button within 2 days... faceID--- now dont even notice it.
If I could change anything, I would opt for at least 256gb, I am not a heavy user but 7Plus only used 75gb/ 128 this already uses 85gb/128---- saw the difference with increase in more robust updated apps--- but they had no 256 or pro in stock so 13 for me
Iphone 13 much improved over 7Plus---
would recommend for those considering from 6+ --and up
I like this iPhone 13 a lot! It took some getting used to. Bigger, but not too big, more responsive, I was an SE owner. It’s more interactive, Love that. The security features are greatly enhanced, that may be the best feature of this phone. But people want to know about the camera… I must disqualify myself here, I haven’t used them very much yet but so far I’m impressed! Wouldn’t trade it for anything at this point ~
I generally like the phone. My prior phone, iPhone 7Plus, had significantly less storage. I do prefer the Fingerprint and Home Button as compared to Face ID. I seem to be having to enter my passcode almost consistently instead of Face ID recognizing me. I wish it had come with instructions. I am having to figure out how some of the features work. I still haven't figured out how to get the page that has locking, volume, brightness, flashlight, focus, square with airplane mode, wi-fi, bluetooth, and internet, and other features to consistently pop up. Also, I have become frustrated when trying to edit a text. The cursor will not go where I tap so sometimes I have to tap several words away from where I want to edit or a different line in order to add or delete a letter, word, or punctuation. I'm also still trying to figure out how to use the Passwords on the phone. It was very easy for me using the Home button and fingerprint on the other phone when logging into an app.
I was in bad need of an upgrade being that I was still using the iPhone 8. Not Pro either. The battery life, the camera, the speed and the screen was well needed. Plus I didn’t see much upgrades coming in the next generation. So probably 15, or whatever they name it, is going to be the next generation shift. Also, as a FAMU Alum, the Green color hits hard. 1887 COLAC Strike!

iPhone 13 review: Apple delivers a delightful upgradeThe iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini aren't radically different, but that's part of the charm.

Apple iPhone 13 review: Delivering the upgrades that matterAt the outset, the iPhone 13 doesn't look any different to its predecessor. But it has a ton of under-the-hood changes that allow it to take better photos and deliver much better battery life. If you're using an older iPhone and want to upgrade,
A:AnswerThe next time someone makes fun or bully you, tell them to buy you a iPhone 13 since they are so concerned with the type of phone you need. You must learn to not allow other people to decide what you need if they’re not willing to buy it for you.
A:AnswerThey do not allow you to pay for the activation on the Best Buy Card. That has to go through the Service Provider as Best Buy is just the hardware supplier. Your AT&T will add the $30 activation to your next bill. I am not sure on the upgrade part of the question, sorry about that.
