Apple® - iPhone 3GS with 8GB Memory - Black (AT&T)

Always wanted an IPhone and finally got one. Afraid to get the 4G because of problems with the antenna as well as the price. Hate to pay for a cell phone, I always got the free one, but sometimes you get what you pay for. This phone is rated #1 one by a consumer rating mazazine for AT&T users. My old phone was a LG Incite. It was small and hard to navigate. I hated it. The worst part about a new phone is learning the features and how it operates. Being an IPod Touch owner I was familar with the format of Apple products. The manual is not include but is available on line at the Apple site.I got the lowest data plan. If you use the WiFi you can use all the internet features with out using up all your data usage. I don't plan to use much of the internet features, that's why I got the lower plan ($15.00) If you can operate an IPod you can operate this phone with ease. What a dream to use. It's easy to navigate and learn with little effort. Tons of apps that are free in the Apple Store. All my apps from my Ipod Touch transfered to my phone the first time I synced it. How cool. It does take a little knowledge of Itunes to put on music, photos, and videos. But with patience you can figure it out. I did. I can't believe I saying this but, I'm starting to love using Itunes. Thought I would never say that, but I am getting better with it. The only down side with this phone may be the battery time. I got an inexpensive speaker system and will use it to keep it charged. Love the voice dialing feature which is the easiest to use. Just press the main button and say the name you want to dial. I suggest listing single names of your contacts that you dial all the time. They are easily recalled and dialed by the phone. Calls are clear and noted on the phone, so you can't miss them. Easy to text as well. So, if you want a fairly inexpensive phone that is super easy to use and has great features and a great support sytem this is the phone for you. I highly recommend it.

I got this phone for my birthday last year and I just recently lost it, but I'm not so sad because the phone had completely horrible battery life and slow internet connection. I rarely ever used the internet on the phone and it would still die out within about an hour or two. Sometimes it would never even load. Sometimes it wouldn't notify me of incoming calls (losing me of a big interview one day!) and receives texts horribly slow at times. I honestly think the iPhone is the most overrated phone out there and is way too expensive for what it's worth. However, with that said, everything else about the phone is completely perfect. I will miss the camera and the fun apps, and the overall appearance of the phone. I loved how easy it was to scroll through all my texts and pictures that accumulated for about a whole year worth of messages all on one screen without having to click back and forth. Cons: Extremely HORRIBLE battery life, slow internet, sometimes it misses calls and receives late texts. Also it's basically a requirement for you to buy a case for this phone. It looks gorgeous until you touch it. Pros: Fun/useful apps, overall appearance and layout of phone, easy to use

I've had this phone for a couple of days now and let me tell you that it's no wonder that everyone recommends it!!!!!!! It's awesome and incredibly fast for my expectations and it's so cute and easy to use! So far I've had 9 phones and this ones way better than the sidekick and lg neon (my opinion) it's so user friendly and has so many apps! And I just LOVE the safari Internet and it's very light unlike the iPhone 4! It's got usefull apps like weather, utilities such as calculator compass ect. When they bought me the iPhone 3GS in December 1, 2010 I was in shock and I never seen myself owning an iPhone before, the surprise of the iPhone also came with an otter box cover which is really expensive but got it in discount.Vwhen I got it I immediately used YouTube , the videos don't look that good but neither horrible. The apps are incredible and fun to use. So I recommend this phone to anyone (that is responsible and takes care of their stuff, Which is the reason I got it)and that you wont regret buying it!!!! I got this phone as an early upgrade, and several family members/friends have iPhone and rave about them. I love this phone, and am finding new stuff every day that it can do! I use it for personal use, checking email, Facebook, a little web surfing. The touchpad keys are pretty easy if you use a light touch and a fingertip. The camera is good quality, but you need a lot of light because it doesn't come with a flash. The Best Buy associate was very helpful in setting it up for me and going through the basics to get me started. It's taken some playing with it (the manual is of little help) to get to know the ins/out, but it's a great phone! I rarely turn it off, so the battery life gets down to 50% pretty quick, especially with constant use. All in all, a good value- maybe a bit overpriced, but it's an Apple.

My choice was the iPhone 3gs, the iPhone 4 or the HTC. The 3gs was only 49.00 so that was a big plus. This is my first smart phone and I thought I'd just start with the simplest one since I don't even know what they do. It does everything I need it to do, talk, text, you can get all the apps. It fits SOME of my music on there, but not all of it. It's only 8gb. But that's ok, I don't really listen to my music on my phone, I have an ipod for that. The battery is good if you're not playing games on it all the time or downloading apps. I do use it for internet and only have the small internet package. It works great with my wifi, so I don't use that much unless I'm away from home and haven't gone over the 200mb yet. so yeah, I'm happy with the phone for now.

Just got this phone the other day! I can not put this phone down. I love the fact that it is easy to use. I am not one who is up to date in the world of technology, but I have found this phone to be simple to use. I was a little nervous about getting it, but I love it! The only thing that I am not to sure about is the battery life. I could be using the phone to much. But if you are someone who will be using it for everything then it will probably go through the battery much faster. The only other thing that I am not sure about (and this could be personal preference) the camera does not have a flash or able to edit pictures like I have been able to do with other phones. Other than those two things, I love the phone.

I went back and forth between the Android and iPhone for many months. I did extensive research before I made my decision. This is my first "smart" phone, and I love it! I'm happy I made this choice. The iPhone is my all-in-one device that I use for work and entertainment. The only drawback that I see so far (I've owned it for a couple of months), is that certain apps crash often. It's annoying, but not annoying enough to regret my decision. There were two features that ultimately made me choose the iPhone: iTunes and the AT&T $15 pricing plan. The Andoid would cause me to use my iPod still, and the infamous dropped calls with AT&T doesn't seem to be a problem for me. Overall, a great phone--especially for the reduced price!

Thinking that I had a computer already, I purchased the iPod Nano. I purchased the iPod Touch based on someone's recommendation and am really enjoying the features, such as being able to have aps and establishing a "library". Because the Touch requires WiFi access to go online, I was glad when my phone company offered this phone for free when I extended my contract. I use the Touch to store things like my music/ book library and certain aps that I can wait to use with a WiFi access. I use this phone for on-the-go aps such as gps and discount websites such as Best Buys's certificate website. I'd like to thank the people at the local Best Buy who spent a lot of time helping me to make a decision, attach the case, and were even able to upload my photos from my previous two year old phone from a different brand.
