I like how with the dark leather the more you use the case the more character it has. I had the white leather Apple case for my iphone 5 in the past and was hesitant to get this due to how gross looking the white one had gotten but with the dark color it hides the dirt and no plastic to start getting yellow. I dropped my phone down three wood stairs and my screen didn't break so I was pretty impressed, I thought for sure my screen was done (I do have a glass zagg on my phone also). I love that I can use my dock without taking off the case. I wouldn't intentionally throw my phone around with this case but I'm very satisfied with its performance thus far. Ps this probably isn't the case for someone with OCD since it does scratch easily but like with any other leather product the scratches can be buffed.

I purchased the iphone7 case through open box online with a note that it was under excellent condition with no scratches and no signs of use. However when I received the item, it was in bad shape. It has many scratches and there was a dent at the back of it. The picture I posted doesn't show the dent, but it looked like somebody wrote something on top of it. I went to the physical store and mentioned I would rather pay for whatever is left to get a new one. I just got lucky that the price for the unopened one and the open box was just the same so I didn't pay anything. Starting from now, I just really don't trust the open box anymore. Overall, I love the case on my iPhone 7 rose gold. It's a genuine leather. I would recommend the brand new leather case, but not the open-box one.

Listed as "excellent" condition like new in box. The leather was worn, was dirty, and it had big creases along the center of case. Nicks and scratches along edges as well. Spent 53 minutes with Best Buy's terrible customer support with no help so I had to waste more time driving to store to return this online purchase. Best buy should have thrown that junk away instead of selling it.
