I order this phone because my iPhone 6 charging receptacle was loose so it didn't charge all of the time, and I figured it wasn't worth fixing. When I figured out that this new SE was the exact same size as my old 6, I thought maybe I made a mistake, since I'm not a phone-aholic and use it as a phone, texting, and GPS. I am SO glad I got this new SE. I didn't realize how slooooow my old phone was since I was used to it, but the SE is so much faster. Everything, from banking apps to email loads pretty much immediately. And the photo quality is no comparison. I have a photo I took with both phones that includes an entertainment unit and carpet in front, and with the old phone you can't even see that there are names on the components; with the new one they are very clear and brightly colored, and you can see the texture in the carpet.
So a hint for you: don't charge your phone all the time and wear out the charging receptacle.
Second hint; don't bother with the Apple silicon cover. I got a Torras slim fit cover for $13 on Amazon and it works and feels great.
The SE 2nd gen iPhone is great, I love the size, battery is great, the sound during calls are clearer than my older SE.
I love my new SE, but I had a problem transferring everything from one phone to the other (I’m a boomer and my daughter lives out of state, what can I say) the young lady helping me at the counter of the Southland store was wonderful. Kristy, I think...
One suggestion for the people at the checkout, they need to point out the SIM card is on the outer packaging. I upgraded for the first time and didn’t realize the SIM card comes attached to the outer wrapping, I thought the tag it was attached to was a security tag and took off the wrapper and threw it into the bag. Fortunately I took the bag with me when I went back to ask about the missing card.
I was reluctant to buy this phone because it did not have the full screen like the iPhone 11 pro. I decided to buy it and am really happy with my decision because: 1) price; 2) with the need to wear masks in public, the ability to unlock the phone with my thumb versus removing my mask and using facial recognition, is great; 3) the phone is fast with the A13 processor; 4) ton of storage with 128gb; 5) camera is amazing. At this price, in a couple of years, it will not be a big deal to switch phones if I want one with a full screen and no home button.
I was an avid Android cell phone user for years. I always thought the iPhone was complicated and that is what kept me from looking into purchasing an iPhone. A close friend showed me how simple it is to use an iPhone and that sold me. When my Android phone died and could not be revived, I took the plunge. I am now the proud owner of a new iPhone SE (2nd generation) and I am very please with my purchase. The assistance I received when purchasing my phone at Best Buy was phenomenal. I can't say enough about the technical expertise of the clerks and their patience. So happy I went to Best Buy for my new iPhone. As their name implies - they are the Best!
I have been waiting to get a new phone until things calmed down with COVID19 but my really old iPhone started having charging issues.
I bought this & it took forever to get here thanks to UPS. When it arrived, I opened it up & immediately started setting it up. It took me less than 30 minutes to complete and everything transferred just by putting the two phones near each other. I never expected it would be that easy. Literally everything transferred including my set alarms!
I upgraded from the old 1st Gen iPhone SE to the 2nd Gen iPhone SE. Truthfully, I like the features of the new Pro iPhones but don’t really like the size of them... they just feel too big for me. The 2nd Gen SE fits perfectly and comfortably in my hand, has plenty of memory, was super easy to set up (literally just put my other phone next to it and followed the prompts and all my data transferred), and I like the wireless charging. It has a lot of the features of the neeer phones but the size is more my style.
Purchased this early as a Father's day gift for my father. So far, he has been using it for over a month and I haven't gotten any complaints about the phone to me. For the price, this iPhone SE 2020 is a good bargain for upgrading or as a gift that don't make your wallet sad.
Bought as a gift for my daughter, she loves it. The SE is supposed to have the internals of an IPhone 11 but with a smaller screen. It seems to work fine, but it slower than the 11. Battery life it good too, lasts all day with moderate use. One negative is that you cannot insert a microSD card for additional storage, photos/videos etc must be stored on a Cloud or on external drive to make room on the phone. Overall good build quality.

Apple iPhone SE review (2020): Great phone, even better price
Building a $400 phone is an exercise in compromise, and the iPhone SE certainly has its share. Despite that, Apple's smallest, cheapest smartphone offers tremendous performance for the price. It won't make sense for everyone, but people who valueFull Review

A:AnswerDownload the Verizon "Transfer" app. It will walk you through transferring directly from phone to phone. It's been a while since I've done it, I don't remember if it will transfer the actual apps or just their data, so you may have to reload the apps on your new phone but the data will be there once you log into them. I take screenshots of each of my screens so I can make sure I get all my apps loaded and placed correctly on my new phone. As always, best to backup before you start moving things around.

A:Answermy experience as I bought for a gift that was 2 months out, yes it is activated at time of delivery and you are getting charged.
If you are looking to get this and not give it to someone at a later date, yes you will be charged and it will be activated
A:AnswerYes! One time $40 activation fee. Would be only $20 if you buy phone directly from Verizon. No one said anything about this so I was surprised and not very happy. Imposed by Verizon though so not upset with Best Buy.
