This is our first smart and selected the iPhone XR based on our research and what Matt, the BB associate, had to say about the iPhone. We're pleased to say that we're quickly learning how to use our new iPhones.
Apple has definitely made some much needed changes in future proofing the IPhone. The XR is a sweet addition to IPhone’s line up. It has a new powerful processor, updated camera with additional photo options, and a larger screen to add to the mix. It falls right in between the XS and the XS max but adds more colorful options. This phone is durable, looks expensive, and is clearly made of quality materials unlike the previous “C” models that were added in the past. If you are in the market for a new cellular device I highly recommend the latest Line up of iPhones. Due keep in mind that these phones come at a cost, and although made of good materials they are definitely overpriced. Check out the XR if you want to save a few bucks but it still will set you back!
I would have gave the phone 5 stars but then that would mean that it was perfect, and although the phone is great there is some room for future improvements and the phone is overpriced.
I used to have an iPhone 6, and decided to give this new iPhone XR a try.
After been using it for 2 weeks, I’m not impressed taking into account the amount of money it costs ($600 after rebates). It looks nicer than the previous iPhone and the Face ID seems to be an innovation, but that doesn’t justify coming out with a new phone.
I remember when iPhone came out with the first version and it was a creation that changed the world, then the iPhone 4 showed a great deal of improvement over its ancestor, but after that, versions 5 through 10(X) are just mere marketing products that fail to bring anything worthy of a new version.
I switched to Macintosh because I was tired of the “new” Windows versions and their lack of actual quality in their operating system. Now, even thought I still observe IOS as the superior operating system, I failed to find the advantages of paying $600 for aesthetics on a cellphone, other than not falling that far behind with a cellphone that won’t take any more updates (happened to me with the iPhone 4).
Also, I don’t see the big difference among the pictures I took with my previous iPhone and the ones taken by this XR model, and the video quality on the XR seems to be 720 at best.
That’s my experience with the XR model. Hope it helps anyone looking for an insight.
I picked up this 10XR around Thanksgiving time, and boy am I happy I did. It’s a huge upgrade from my iPhone 5 in both performance and size.
Performance, speed, wireless charging, size, FaceID...did I mention size? Oh battery life is outstanding and jumping from 16 to 64GB is life changing.
If you are looking to upgrade this is a great choice.
Upgraded from an iPhone SE and love the bigger phone and features. The battery life for this phone is hands down the best I’ve ever seen and the primary reason why I considered buying this phone. On my normal use, this lasted two days compared to needing to charge once or twice a day with my SE. If your an on the go user for with your phone, especially for business use, I highly recommend this phone. The missing few features from the Xs is not a big deal to me at all. If you want good quality battery life, buy this phone!
Upgraded from an iPhone 6s and enjoy the much larger screen size. Face ID is a bit annoying now that everyone is using face masks but Touch ID would have been an issue too since we are now wearing gloves too. Only thing I didn't realize was that this phone's weight -- it's much heavier compared to my Android LG with the same screen size. Still, I'm happy with the device and I'd recommend it to family and friends..

A:AnswerI reluctantly just switched from having pre-paid for years and I’m sorry I did. I’m actually sorry I got the XR because I don’t like the face recognition. Anyway, I was missed lead from the sales rep at Best Buy. I’m pretty disgusted going from $50 a month (paying every 30 days) to SPRINT $99.00 including $15 for the phone. To top it off my bill was due in less than three weeks!
A:AnswerI had the same issue years ago. 2 things. I had no signal at my home. I called, complained about the lack of signal at my home, and Sprint set me up with a free Cellular booster that feeds off the internet and boosts signal. Only catch is that is has to be plugged into the internet at all times.
Second, you can use iPhone’s WiFi calling feature....of course you need WiFi.
Other than that, if the area outside of your home has no signal, then switching carriers may be an option. Although, you shouldn’t be in a contract nowadays, carriers did away with that years ago I thought. The only real hitch to your carrier is your phones. You just have to pay off the phones prior to leaving any carrier.
Hope this helps.
