Q: QuestionCan you download from any source? Does it have to be iTunes?
Asked by LJ.
- A:Answer You don't have to buy music from Itunes, but you will need to have the free Itunes Application. The Ipods supports AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV The WMA file (window media player) format is not supported. The Itunes application can convert these files. CDs can be ripped with Itunes or Windows Media Player. If using Media Player make sure that it set to rip as an MP3 which will make it easier later. When it comes to buying music online I personally prefer to buy music in MP3 format.

Q: QuestionCan I charge it using a potatoe?I saw a thing on youtube where they charged a phone with a potatoe. Will this work with an ipod?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Good question -- not a lot of research out there, but here's a quick Google search on the topic that points more to an onion than a potato. (http://www.google.com/search?q=charge+ipod+with+potato&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GGLD_en) You'll need some supplies to try it out, and whatever happens, it's your choice to try this out - definitely not endorse by Best Buy or Apple.
