I purchased i9 2400Hz 64GB 8gb GDDR. I usually edit 4k video with audio recording. It is great speed and performance. But, I just concerned about the high price.

I bought mine with everything maxed out besides internal storage memory. This thing is a workhorse but definitely gets hot when pushing it and editing 4K video in a big project in FCPX. I recommend this for anyone video editor who is always on the move, especially if they prefer to use FCPX

I've been using Macs for 30 years and I have to say this laptop is the best so far. It's plenty fast, the screen is spectacular. I wasn't so sure about the USB-C connections only, but it turned out to be very convenient. On the road I carry a small hub just in case. But at home, I have everything hooked up to a hub under the desk, monitor, mouse, keyboard, then an extension cord to a mag connector, so I only have one cable to connect to the MacBook.
