QuestionDoes the keyboard fold 360 so you can use in tablet/multimedia mode? Or do you have to unattach it first?

- Answer I agree. I don’t’ think this can fold into a lay flat mode or tablet style while attached to the keyboard. This is a bummer for me as a digital artist. I don’t want to take it off and switch cases or lay it on a hard surface all bare back! For me, I think I am sticking with the folio and buying the standalone magic keyboard since I do more media consumption/art rather than office/business work. Good luck! Cheers.

QuestionWill the keyboard function as a keyboard if the Ipad is not attached to the keyboard? Another way to "ask the question" would be "how does the keyboard and Ipad communicate, direct contact with Ipad and keyboard or by Bluetooth?

- Answer It is connected through smart connector. The magic keyboard does not have Bluetooth or battery. Once you put the iPad on the keyboard, it is ready to go.

- Answer Yes, the 12.9 iPad Pro 4th Generation keyboard will work with the 5th generation iPad Pro. Keep in mind the 5th gen pro is slightly thicker than the 4th gen pro and the result is that the keyboard doesn’t close exactly flush. I have attached photos of my 5th gen ipad pro in the 4th gen case and 5th gen case.
