Customers regard the Magic Mouse 2 favorably for its ease of use, excellent battery life, and appealing design. Many appreciate its wireless functionality and compatibility with Apple products, along with its comfortable size and weight. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the location of the charging port and find the price to be a drawback. A few also mention concerns about the sensitivity settings.
The mouse works great and does all that Apple says it should do, but my draw back on it is the position of the charging pot. Right underneath? That doesn’t sound like a good thinking design to me. I don’t care where else it could be, but absolutely not underneath. When you’re charging the mouse you can’t use it until after charge. Although, a single charge last long, but no matter how long, the battery will defiantly flat one day and you will need to charge. Just know that when charging no mouse use, period!

I purchased this apple mouse a few days after I received my MacBook Pro. I got used to apple products when I started working in the creative dept. at wrk. I am so glad I did because they are so much better than a pc. The mouse wrks like magic and the charge lasts a long time. Not only that, but your Mac will let you know if your mouse needs charge because it is displayed right on your screen at all times. My mouse at wrk is white. I was glad they had black. That’s the one for me! My daughter even got one after me!!

The charge lasts for several days to a few weeks. It glides well on a desk or on a slick mousepad. It has nice gestures on the top similar to the trackpad. Very handy to swipe to scroll (you can scroll must faster on this vs. a mouse wheel) and back/forward in Safari. No batteries, charges via a lightning cable. Impressed! Only downside is that you can't left click while right clicking (at least from what I can tell, only matters for gaming).
