Apple - Pre-Owned iPhone 8 with 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Matte Red

I received the phone and was super excited. It looked like it was in perfect condition! When I turned it on, the screen had all kinds of lines going through it, like a plaid pattern but on my phone screen (meaning the LCD is no longer connected to the logic board, a sign of water/other damage). It's not completely debilitating to the phone, everything is still useful and works perfectly, but the display is certainly annoying. I wish they would have inspected the phone for this issue before shipment.

I knew this phone wouldn’t be new. The battery is at about 82% which means it is already well used. I don’t think that battery is going to survive two extra years. The old phone, iPhone 6, that I just replaced, has less scratches than the new one, which I just bought. Well, they say you get what you pay for. The only question why did I, a guy, buy a rose gold phone?(smiley)

It's an awesome phone. Perfect size' just what I wanted, Took it down to my phone provider (Verizon) They intern installed the sim's card to activate. The phone would get service with 3bars then go to no service. They tried everything to get it to work. I settled for an iPhone 7 instead of an iPhone 8. Costing me an additional $84.52. No I'm not very happy now but at least I have a phone

I gave 1 star because of 3 reasons 1) I didn’t get at least apple charge. With the charger I got in the package it is charging very slow. 2) Scratches are there on back of the phone. 3) Finally, I thought I’d return this product and get another one. For that Best Buy is charging me $45 restocking fee, which is pathetic. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to buy this or any pre-owned product from best but, because it doesn’t state or looks same as they put in pictures.

Love Best Buy!!! The quality of the product is always better than I expected. They always have deals on stuff, though sometimes it may be a couple dollars it just feels good to know you’re getting something for a lower price. Always greeted by nice and welcoming staff.

This is my third time purchasing a preowned phone and I’m very disappointed. The screen was not cleaned and you can tell that the previous owner had a case on the phone since the lines from the case were visible. Phone has several dents and scratches. Phone was shipped in a poly bag so the box was dented upon arrival.

It is just like new, with the exception that the Battery Health Meter is only at 88% instead of 100%. I expected that a refurbished phone would have a new battery. The one year warranty is nice though. I could only get a 90 day warranty for a battery replacement or a phone exchange for a new phone. I plan to discuss the battery issue with someone at the store.

I bought refurbished from Best Buy thinking it will have better service but disappointed that phone started giving problems within 14 days but Best Buy won’t return, refund or help in any way.
