This remote is waaaaay better than Apple's previous remote (the glossy, slim, black one) for the Apple TV. It feels more like a remote due to the design and weight. Buttons are very reponsive. A must for any ATV owners without it.

This is what the remote should have been from the start. I HATED the remote that came with our Apple TV immediately! We got the remote from Function 101 which was an improvement but was missing a button which made it difficult for quickly connecting headphones. It also didn't have voice control but I don't care about that. This new remote is awesome! Thicker and easier to handle. You can turn off the touch which was horrible on the old Apple remote.

Purchased as a backup for our remote. It works good, as does our original remote.
