I was really hoping not to like this Monitor, and had all the intentions to take it back to Best Buy if it did not meet my expectations. this is an expensive Monitor, I got it for $949.00 dollars, but let's be honest, what Apple product isn't. I got this for my MacBook Pro Retina (2014), and so far, it's done everything I could possibly want it to do. This is not the best Monitor you can purchase, and I'm sure there are a lot that are cheaper and would work just as good, however, as far as functionality with my MacBook Pro, this is the perfect monitor, the Thunderbolt and Power connection is easy, and the display is large and very sharp. After 4 months of use, I've had no problems at all, I haven't had an issue with glare,but, at the same time, my monitor is in a lowly lighted room, the USB Ports in the back are nice, although they're not 3.0, they're still very functional and gets the job done. To summarize it all, it effectively turns your MacBook Pro into a very nice Desktop PC.

If you have any model of Mac this is the best display I have connected to. For pro and air books it doubles as docking station with the integrated cable.
