Q: is this compatible with dexcon blood sugar moiniter?
A: ABSOLUTELY!!!! I bought this watch just for that purpose for my 13 year old diabetic son!! Now all he has to do is look at his watch anytime he wants to see what his blood sugar is!! Amazing!!
Q: Is the series 3 a better buy than the 2? Is the series 2 being phased out in favor of the 3?
A: I researched the two and could not find a significant benefit to the Series 3 unless you plan to purchase the 3 with the data plan. Both the 2 and 3 have GPS and are waterproof which was why I decided to upgrade from my Series 1 which did not have a GPS and was only splash resistant. As far as I know Apple will no longer make the Series 2 so yes it will be phased out but should not effect you if you decide to purchase one. They still support Series 1 and 2 with all the software upgrades.
Q: Can you mute the Apple Watch? What accessories go with this?
A: Yes, you can! There is a vibrate mode and an airplane mode. But the watch does not match the mode your phone is in, so if your phone is on silent, it's possible still for your watch to alert you.
Q: What warranty comes with watch?
A: What if I crack my screen on my Apple Watch?
Q: Can you make a phone call from this watch?
A: Yes you can make and receive phone calls from it. Just can't video chat with it
Q: Can the 2 series check heart rate, steps, and monitor sleep?
A: Yes on heart rate and steps and I believe you can track sleep but I have not done that yet .
Q: Will the apple watch series 2 still be getting updates even tho it isn't on apples website anymore?
A: I still get updates. I updated yesterday as a matter of fact.
