A: Wi-Fi Enabled for Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Heroes™, X-Men vs Street Fighter™, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter™,Marvel Super Heroes™. Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems™ is not Wi-Fi enabled and is local play only.

Q: Does this have menus to change the difficulty like the Star Wars Arcade1up or will it be a brick collecting dust like my Marvel Superheroes Arcade1up that is impossible to play solo? It’s a dealbreaker for me.

A: That is unknown at this point but I would not count on it having that adjustable (it does have online play, so you can probably find other casual players at a similar skill level).

Q: What exclusive items or features make this a "Special Edition" as opposed to the "Standard Edition" release?

A: It has confirmed every feature that Arcade1Up offers other than Sanwa sticks/buttons (like the MSH:SE). It may or may not have Sanwa parts, based upon the images it does not have Sanwa buttons (if the image is accurate regarding production units). It could be that the Marvel vs. Capcom cabinet itself (the artwork) makes it a Special Edition (especially if it is exclusive to Best Buy).

Q: I know the Marvel vs Capcom version comes with a stool and light-up marquee, but does the X-Men vs SF version come with a stool and light-up marquee also? And does that version also come with online-play for X-Men COTA, X-Men vs SF and Marvel vs Capcom?

A: The stool inclusion depends upon where it is purchased from (what the package is). The current pre-order for X-Men vs. SF at Walmart does not seem to include the matched stool, it does come with a light-up marquee. Yes, those games are online enabled, it is said that the only game (between the two cabinets) that is NOT online is MSH: War of the Gems (it's more of a side-scrolling beat'em up).

Q: So if this is actually the marvel super heroes arcade cabinet when does the X-men arcade cabinet release?

A: This is not the Marvel Super Heroes cabinet, that was released a while back, this is the Marvel vs. Capcom cabinet. The X-Men vs. Street Fighter cabinet is available for pre-order through Walmart.

Q: Does this contain all the games whos title is at the bottom of the cabinet or does it just have MVC?

A: It includes the games shown on the cabinet, not just MvC.

Q: What is the USB connection for? Does anyone have any idea?

A: Firmware updates and if it is like the NBA JAM you can use a USB to Ethernet adapter for a wired internet connection (vs. WiFi).

A: It's MvC, it says Best Buy has the MvC on the Arcade1Up website (see where the page for X-men vs. SF says "Please note").

A Beautifully Good Time
I'll admit this is only my second Arcade 1up machine, but it's the one I've been waiting on since the company started. The cabinet is beautiful. Great artwork! Even the riser is top notch art. The screen looks great. I'm happy they did not update the graphics, because it gives me the nostalgia I need every time I play. I love the addition of online play. It heightens the challenge level when playing in "expert" mode is simply not enough. I love the light up marquee and the control panel lighting. I especially love that the control panel lighting can be changed or turned off, unlike the marquee (unless you disconnect it completely). The stool is great. It's the perfect height for playing on the riser. On the cons side: the game doesn't save settings or high scores (or at least mine does not). Each time I power my machine off, I lose all settings, except for my online record (which I'm not proud of - lol). It also seems there is a lowered character selection on Marvel Vs Capcom and Marvel Superheroes Vs Street Fighter (or I could be remembering incorrectly). But I thought the selection was more than 13. Also, it would be great to add screw holes for the riser on the cabinet. I feel like I ruined my machine when I had to screw through the artwork myself. My biggest issue is the joysticks. Now I know the tech savvy hardcore gamers do modifications, I'm not that guy. I just play for the fun of it and I enjoy how it looks in my game room. That aside, the top of my joystick pops off constantly regardless of how well I screw it on. It's to the point where I need to tighten it between rounds to ensure it stays on. At this point, I'm sure there has to be a better way to build these joysticks so that the topper popping off is not an issue. It ruins, what I otherwise consider to be, top notch construction of the game cabinet and controls. Overall, I'm super satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to collectors or anyone just looking for a fun and beautiful cabinet to add to your game room. I play it multiple times daily because it just makes me happy, win or lose.

A well-rounded, beautiful arcade cabinet
This is my first arcade cabinet I owned, so this is coming from a novice. I'm not particularly good at most fighting games and this one is no exception, but I enjoy playing these games. They play amazingly well with the provided controls. I could probably get more accustomed to these games with more practice. I feel like they could have given us better buttons, but they get the job done. The stool could have had more cushion to it as well. I'm very happy with the game selection for the most part. I could have gone without War of the Gems as it's just an average SNES beat'em up Arcade1Up added to pad out the lineup. They could've added one of the other vs games like MVC2, but I expect them to make that a separate cabinet if they do that. But I'm happy with the rest of the lineup as they are all gorgeous and have aged incredibly well. The cabinet was straightforward to put together, but there were certain parts that were hard to attach (looking at you C screws). But when I had everything installed, it looked beautiful. The light-up marquee, the side panels, the front, the riser, the stool, everything had some of the coolest, most beautiful artwork I have ever seen. Overall, I'm glad I got this unit, and if it were to be my only Arcade1Up cabinet, I think I chose the right one. I would recommend this if you are a Marvel fan, a Capcom fan, or a fan of fighting games in general. And it has Venom! That should automatically make it a must-buy!

i’ve had 6previous arcades, but this 1 OWNS
I’ve had 6 previous arcade cabinets: FinalFight, MortalKombat, Rampage, NinjaTurtles, MarvelSuperheroes, and Pac-Man, but this one is by far my favorite of all! It’s more cool the side or all around is different design, when previous cabinets repeated the design, this also has a light up marquee and deck light up, when the old ones did not, grant it i could upgrade, but instead I sold 2. All the previous cabinets came with 3 games, but this one has 5! And 4 games are online! What I consider a compliments is the awesome stool and custom riser! THANK YOU!
