This game is very cute and the quality is good. Looks very much like a miniaturized full-sized arcade. The screen is very clear and it looks like the original Pac Man game. Not sure if it is the exact game. This countercade comes in one unit, no assembly required. It has 2 Pac Man games. It comes with an extra button, just in case one of the 2 buttons (Player 1 and Player 2) malfunction, It looks very simply to replace the button - unscrew the 4 screws in the back, unplug the broken button, and plug the new one in. The game is not heavy enough to prevent moving on the table. I am going to put some nonslip pads on the bottom. The joystick has room for improvements. It is only 4 directions: up, down, right and left. It takes getting used to since I remember the original arcade has a joystick that can move in a circular motion - 8 directions? Because of the 4 directional joystick, sometimes Pac Man will get stuck and the second makes a huge different in getting killed by one of the ghost. The layout of the buttons and joystick for the 2nd Pac Man game is more for a left handed person. I am right handed, and my right hand is on the joystick, and the 2-player button is the fire button, It's kind of awkward for me to reach under my right arm to press the fire button, or I'll have to navigate Pac Man with my left hand. Asides from these 2 things, I really like the game. I was worried about not liking the joystick at all, but it just needs getting used to. I only have this game for 1 day, and it's fun. I like it. I hope the entire unit - joystick, buttons and the screen will last a long time. There is an on/off button, and the volume button has 3 settings: No Sound, Loud, and VERY Loud. The loud setting is very loud to me, and I'm planning on putting a sticker over the speaker to muffle some of the sound, and it's strange play with no sound. I do recommend this game - lower your expectation a little on the joystick, like I did, and take some time to get used to it.
