I would say this is probably one of the most campiest, cheesiest, yet kinda beautiful and decent RPG's to hit the PS4. Now most people may not know about this game but actually this game has been around for 5 years. I first purchased it on 360 in 2010, then on PC on a Steam sale 2 years ago, and now I purchased the PS4 version hoping that I will actually play more than 60% of this game and finish it. Nevertheless, in comparison to the other versions, I can say the PS4 version is the definitive version of this game. The textures are re-done quite nicely, pop-in is non-existent which was a huge problem in the other versions, and the combat/enemy animations appear 10X more fluid than earlier. This version also contains the separate expansion: The Fall of Setariff which is an added bonus. However, with these said do not expect a great game. In fact, I would say Two Worlds is a better game than this if you know what I mean. But on the contrary to that, know this is not necessarily a bad game. It's a very simple RPG, hack and slash and can be repetitive, confusing, silly, frustrating, janky, and could put you to sleep (problem playing earlier versions). But if you can overlook these cons, it's a pretty decent experience! One of the things that has helped me to avoid losing interest in the PS4 version, is increasing the difficulty to the hardest level: "Gothic." This has turned the game into a more "Dark Souls" experience but make no mistake this game is still just alright. I give it 4 stars because it's not that bad, there are a lot of good ideas present (sawing wood for no reason, taking a bath for no reason, sleeping for no reason, using smithing tools for no reason, etc) that you can tell that maybe there was not enough time to get developed into the full release. I think with this latter aspect, they were trying to go for a "Skyrim" experience but IDK.(JoWood if you are out there correct me if I am wrong). There is some good humor in this game, good environment/enemy designs, and good combat concepts. The bow and arrow feel actually pretty satisfying. Anyway, if you can get it cheap, it's not bad.

I bought this game on a whim because it was on sale, and it looked interesting to me. I'm glad I did. I had a lot of fun with it, and completed all of the side quests. One thing I would have liked to know earlier in the game is about the Runes. You can put these on a shortcut bar and use them whenever they are off timer. All of the Runes produce beneficial effects, such as increased movement speed. Once I figured out what these were, and how to use them, the game became much more fun, and cut down considerably on travel time running across the world.

Arcania is one of those games which actually on a ps4 shouldn't exist. Best description of game is its a fantastic ps2 game with early ps3 graphics. Unfortunately, arcania, like every other game in existence retails the same tale over and over again. that they could actually minmize story and highlight archaic battle systems is frankly amazing. this game holds a special value for me bc it reminds me of times with dear friends while exploring early xbox and ps2 games that and the rabbit lived

Although I played some of these previous games on PC, these remastered versions condensed into one full story have made a great difference in continuity and nice, enhanced graphics. I really enjoyed my experience, as it had been quite a while since I had played any of the early games. I really appreciated being able to roll through all of the games at once and keep the story flowing. This is a really good game set with a great plot that fantasy and RPG fans will love.

I wasn't expecting much from a cheaper RPG, and I got a little bit more from Arcania:The Complete Tale. This game may be no Fallout or Witcher, but it is another good RPG to play on PS4. I'm glad I picked this up while I had a chance, because they only had a few copies available in stock. I recommend this game to anyone that has The Witcher 3 that may want another RPG to play to take a break from The Witcher.

The only real problem is that game manufactures have moved to 1 player games, and the only way to play multi player is to go online, to their proprietary site. Other than that, it's a good scrolling entertaining game.

This game is well worth the money even though it doesn't have the prettiest visuals. The gameplay is pretty good, and if you're a fan of action RPGs then you'll like this game. It's not the most polished game ever, but it is still fun.

This game is okay. I reminds me of Dragon Age but it has its own style of gaming. I played the game for a few hours and i enjoyed it. The only thing i found weird was the fighting system. that is my only complaint with the game.
