Q: Will the 1080 camera pair with the 720 base ?
A: Yes. I purchased 4 720p cameras last year. This year I purchased a 1080p camera and it paired without any issues.
Q: How long does the battery last before it has to be recharged?
A: There is no correct answer for time between charging. It depends on how active the area is and if it is night or day when recording, not sure but seems like night might use a little more power. I added mine on the regular Arlo system to see the difference and it is visibly better. It has a few hundred 10 to 15 second vids and still has 83% power.
A: Yes, it comes with a battery. We bought the solar panel that recharges it while its in place.

Q: Is the pro2 comparable with the regular pro base?
A: I originally purchased the pro system with four cameras. I recently purchased the pro 2 camera as my fifth camera for that system and it works amazing.
Q: Can I monitor the camera and talk through my phone on my data plan or only if I am on Wifi?
A: You can do it all on WiFi and Data

A: Yes you can view your home from anywhere you are at. I went on vacation out of country and was keeping a lookout on my home at all times.
A: The camera doesnt work independently, it needs the base station to work.
