I have reviewed the first season, and I bought this season as well as the first together because they were on sale, and I literally saved $58 overall after the two of them were purchased. This second season starts off fairly slow and almost feels kind of boring after a while, it got to the point where I almost had to take a break from Netflix at work and find something else to do other than watch Arrow. But I did manage to "hang in there" and the very next episode sucked me right back into the show, although this season does take a little while to pick up, once it does pick up it is quite the show! I only gave this review four stars because after season one had such a fantastic finale it took a while for this season to pick up, but I did enjoy things like the appearance of Barry Allen (comic buffs know who that is!) and the fact that they kept his personality really close to the comics, one of my favorite things they did was how Barry says something like I'm always late, which if you read the comics you know that rings true to his character and it gives you a nice chuckle haha. This season was really awesome, I really liked how the explained what happened with Slade Wilson's (Deathstroke's) eye towards the end of the season and I really enjoyed the fight(s) between slade and Oliver, and this season has a couple huge turning points in the show. Another thing I really like about purchasing this season was that this was the Blu-Ray+DVD+UV set, and I personally like that better than just having the blu ray like I did with first season, like I mentioned in the first season review I was able to save $58 when I bought both this season and the first together. The only thing I didnt like about this season was the fact that it took a while to pick up and for some odd reason without spoiling anything for anybody that hasnt seen this yet, the Blonde girl in this show really started to annoy me for some reason, maybe it was because Oliver made a choice that I kind of disagreed with, or maybe it was the fact that she just did get annoying, but overall if you enjoyed the first season, this is worth the buy as well. especially if you're a comic or superhero fan!

It's been a few weeks since I watched Season 2. I do recall upon finishing Season 1 the cliffhanger made me want to pop in S2. I bought it with the incentive of free tickets to Batman Superman making it value added. I had not watched any episodes prior either on TV or Netflix. But after seeing WB's take on Flash I had high hopes and I like to think they were well met. From Slade Wilson to Ollie's progression it was fun. Some of the expanded backstory worked while other parts felt eh unneeded. But hey I'm not the writer. If you're a fan of classic drawn out comic stories where it takes 4-5 issues to tell a story then Arrow delivers. It has solid 1-2 ep arcs n then has an overreaching Season story especially good for marathon watchers (I hate the term Binge).

When I was a kid, I loved comic books. I would almost always go with Marvel over DC, but I still liked the wide range of Characters that DC had. Now, as an adult I am totally enjoying seeing comic book heroes I loved come to life on the small screen. This show is just so well done...it keeps getting better with each season. I really enjoy how we find out little by little about the origins of Arrow in flashbacks to his time on the island and other places. The acting is good, the stories are good...I plan to keep buying them until I have them all. And realistically, if they keep being offered for such a good price, I should soon have everything that is out. And you know, I'm ok with that.

From episode one, season one...this is one show that simply gets better and better after each episode continuously! The characters are strong and well played due to brilliant casting. Season two was nothing short of exceptional. If you have not watched this yet...I recommend you purchase Season One and get caught up and not miss a thing before purchasing Season Two...everything fits in place so perfectly that if you skip, it may not take away at all from the entertainment factor but you can miss on things that will give you that shock of "Awww ok now I got it!" feeling. It is great to finally see some shows coming out that can give you that looking forward to next weeks episode so well. This and Sleepy Hollow are amazing in their detail and clever twists and turns.

I'll admit when I first watched this show I didn't know what to expect. I watched the first season once it went up on Netflix. I hate commercials so I'm always a season behind with any show I choose to watch. Fast forwarding on DVR just isn't an option since even then I'm still lazy to do so. Now I've bought the complete first season despite already watching it on Netflix because I just LOVE this show. Stephen Amell and the rest of the cast do a really great job. Now as far as this second season, there really isn't enough words to describe its awesomeness. UV copy helps also since I have the Vudu app on my PS4. Seemingly many shows and movies are all coming with a UV copy and it's slowly become my preference for digital copies.

With the Second season of Arrow things are getting a little bit more interesting. This are beginning to evolve and get more interesting. I see the first season as kind of the introduction season and now that we know Oliver better he can kick some tail and take names easier. The action and stories have gotten better and more characters for the DC world are beginning to emerge some. Arrow carries on the same dark and gritty feel that the Dark Knight trilogy brought to the table. It is a great series for a more street level comic book character that I can see continuing on for many more seasons. I wish i could wield a bow in a similar fashion. That would be awesome.

The second season of Arrow continues the story set up in the first season. Oliver queen goes missing for 5 years only to returns a changed man with a goal and a promise he must keep. If you havent seen the first season check it out, its pretty good too. In the second season, Oliver Queen faces a war within himself as he tries to discover the man he truly is. Should he kill the villains he works so hard to stop, or should he let them live? Yet there is more that lurks in the shadows of Starling City. Will the Arrow be able to protect those he loves from his past? Well if you want to know buy this while it's still 16.99, it is soooooo worth it.

Season one of Arrow got better as it went along, probably at about the pace that the writers/producers learned that they did not need to lean on the romantic relationship crutch quite so hard as other WB shows. Season two told a cohesive story that tied the present day dilemma to the island flashbacks more seamlessly than before, teased enough easter eggs to keep the comic fans on the hook, and built on an accessible, self-contained series that new fans can enjoy. The existential navel-gazing slows the momentum sometimes, but the well executed stunts and fight sequences help to compensate.
