I would give this six stars!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually, I would give this six stars. Does it knock my socks off, every time? no, nor do I expect something to, but it's most always true to "comic book gone film." It's like reading a comic book, only better, as you see the live actors. I give it the extra star because I have such a good time watching it. It's a show I can discuss with my grandchildren. So this is not like a serious film review, but I am an artist, and do take it seriously, too. It's good clean fun, interesting, just soapy enough, with moral questions to ponder, with surprises, twists and turns. I'm so glad I found this show, worth every penny for my viewing entertainment. It's solid in that it's interesting, well done and the acting is great. The choice of costume, and casting, too. Very wonderful. My favorite type of show.

Not The Best, But Still Real Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion this third season of Arrow wasn't the best. I didn't quite like where it was going and I spent a lot of the time saying to myself(the TV) "What the heck? What are you doing? You can't be going this direction! This would be dumb!" That being said, it doesn't mean that it was anything less than the Arrow quality we've come to expect. Still had great acting, writing, lighting, action, the works. I mean, I still went and bought it didn't I? LOL. Look, I'm not really going to waste too much more time on reviewing this show after 2 seasons. If you're not already into it by now you're probably not going to be reading a review of Season 3. So on to the other aspects of this set. The packaging and artwork are right on par with the previous offerings. Which is GREAT! Now I'm not super OCD about my collections. But still, it's nice to look at my shelf and see all my Samurai Jack, Dark Angel, Metalocalypse, etc. etc. all looking similar. It's rather annoying to see Big Bang Theory change the spine after 2 seasons. Or Simpsons making you get a case shaped like someone's head(which has been rectified in reissues, but still at the time of first release there was only one option). Anyhow, it's cool to see consistency on my shelf. The set also comes with similar Special Features: couple of behind the scenes, commentaries, ComicCon stuff, gag reel, and some unaired scenes. Again, all right inline with previous releases and expectations. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars was because as I said earlier, not my favorite season story wise. Hey, they can't all be Zingers!

Love the show!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the show. I have been following the show since the first season currently watching the fourth season, and I am looking forward to a fifth if they decide to continue with the show, which I hope they do. Emily is my favorite character in the show. She is funny, though she is a bit more serious in the season, I still love her character. Laurel is actually beginning to grow on me, I didn't particularly like her in the first season, but once she became the black Canary she has quickly become one of my favorites. With each season, the shows stunts and graphics seem to be getting a lot better. When the ATOM was introduced I was expecting some cheesy or very corny graphics. I was pleasantly surprised when they weren't.

Another fun season!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here we are with the third season of The Arrow. After I was done with the second season I was really looking forward to the third season. And I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed it very much, and the new direction that the story took. We got to meet some new characters, and they were very interesting. We also had some crossover episodes with The Flash, which was very nice to see. I actually started watching The Flash before I started watching The Arrow, so it was very good to see how it started. The discs themselves again look beautiful, and sounded wonderful. But I'm here to report that the same problem I had with the other disks happen with the set too. (Please see other reviews). And this is why I only gave it four stars. Either way, I think if you've seen the show you'll love this set. If you've never seen the show I would start with season one and work your way forward, because I think you'll enjoy them, if this is your type of genre. It is mine, and I am looking forward to season four!

This show keeps getting better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I was a kid, I loved comic books. Sure, if pressed I would almost always go with Marvel over DC, but I still liked the wide range of Characters that DC had. Now, as an adult (sort of) I am thrilled beyond belief to see comic book heroes I loved come to life on the small screen. This show is just so well done...it keeps getting better with each season. I really enjoy how we find out little by little about the origins of Arrow in flashbacks to his time on the island and other places. The acting is good, the stories are good...I plan to keep buying them until I have them all.

Another good season
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the aftermath of his victory, Season Three opens with The Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.
