Perhaps I'm picky about Xmas movies but I don't find many new holiday movies worthy of becoming seasonal favorites. the classics remain supreme. I don't really consider a love interest story that happens to take place in December a Xmas story- I like the plot or at least theme to be about Xmas itself. Well this movie focuses on Xmas. it takes place on Xmas eve into Xmas morning. the characters are the Santa family and elves themselves. the overall plot rise, climax, and fall is cookie cutter for a animation movie but its still well done. animation effects are good, it has witty humor, and classic Xmas theme. for what its worth I'm not a fan of holiday movies such as the holiday or family stone, instead I like jingle all the way, polar express, the grinch etc.

There needs to be a more clear way to show a movies language. This one was like this: Widescreen Dubbed Subtitle AC3 - DVD I have no idea what that means. Can't they just say "English" and USA for the region so I don't have to guess or pass up a movie. I'm seeing dubbed and subtitled, that is turning me off. I'm thinking it's in a foreign language and it's dubbed. And then being in a foreign language it's also subtitled so I'd have to read what is being said and miss the excitement of the animation. Just say 'English" and for the region, USA. Very simple and leaves no question in anyone's mind. Thank you

We gave this movie to our kids as a Christmas gift which is why we didn't watch it until three days ago. The story is a good one for modern time including a Santa space ship in stead of a sleigh, metrics on delivery, etc. As usual, in the end the good guy wins and the message of the movie is clear and touching. Since the vocals are British it can be hard to understand at times. My 8 year old thought is was boring (she was tired) , but me and my 5 year old reallly liked it.

Arthur Christmas wont be remembered in years to come as a modern Christmas classic such as "A Christmas Story", "It's a Wonderful Life", "Home Alone" or in this reviewers humble opinion, "Die Hard", but the little kids love this film and it's started to become part of our annual rotation of Christmas movies they watch every year.

I bought this on a deep discount and didn't have high expectations for this film... so, watching it was a sweet surprise. It's cute in it's own way and will delight small kids especially. The animation won't wow you but the story will. Everyone feels good watching this delightful feature. Good for children of any age and the young at heart. Merry Christmas.

Arthur Christmas should be included with the classic Christmas films, or at least within the animated grouping. It might not be Home Alone, White Christmas or Christmas Vacation, but surpasses all the rest. Cast is incredible and story line is unique - so hard to invent new Christmas ideas! I highly recommend, especially since this is the most bang you'll get for $4!

Great Movie! We enjoyed it. The quirkie son has the best outlook of love and kindness while the favored son is about being in charge. The elder brother learns the value of love and caring about even one after the younger quirkie brother goes through his fears to serve just one, the one that got missed.

Arthur's Christmas is a great holiday movie. It shows you how technology has changed our worlds so much that even Santa is taking advantage of the new modern ways, but what happens when it fails? Well Santa has to fix a problem the old raindier way. Highly recommend this film for all ages.
