Another great album from The Kills
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Kills have a unique blend of White Stripes style garage rock mixed with a bit of electronic pop. Whatever you call it, it's very catchy. And there are only two people in the band. Alison Mosshart is one of the best singers out there (she's also lead singer of supergroup The Dead Weather), and Jamie Hince has a very unique style of playing guitar. A drum machine provides that electronic edge to their sound. So far everything I've heard of theirs has been great, and this album is no exception.

Another great addition from The Kills
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is another great album from The Kills. First, the product itself worked great and as expected; there were no problems with the physical disc and it plays perfectly. The CD also includes a packed booklet with all of the lyrics and production notes. Is this The Kills best album? I'd say, "Yes." Like all great bands, the progression of The Kills is evident and they are trying new and amazing stuff, while still being The Kills.

Another solid release from The Kills
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first became aware of The Kills via "Blood Pressures". Alison Mossheart has been quite prolific since then, participating in a number of other projects. Needless to say, I was thrilled when a new release from The Kills was announced. This definitely takes a step forward, adding new instrumentation and rhythmic ideas. Mossheart's voice sounds particularly strong. Hince's guitar work sounds fresh and reinvigorated. If they are coming to your town on tour, don't miss it!
