The specs on this laptop are outstanding and the price is quite reasonable. Performance is amazing in some very demanding games, and I am very pleased with the speed and the graphics quality. I am not pleased with the sound. It is a mystery to me why Asus used such poor speakers on a top end machine, and why those speakers are so poorly placed. They're on the back of the screen, so sound echos badly, and the volume is so low that I frequently can barely hear it at all, even at the maximum volume setting. Asus support recommended a driver update, which did absolutely nothing to help the problem. I'm using external bluetooth speakers with some success. It's a shame this great laptop has such a flaw. This is my only problem.

It really is the best gaming laptop. With all this ram you can really multitask. You can dedicate ram and use virtual box. It's more like a portable desktop. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a 4K display. Other laptops might have a 4K display but the GPU's they use are junk. It's powerful and well balanced. If you want desktop speed on the go this is a sound investment.

Its a beast of a machine... by the specs but I've had quite a bit of trouble with this machine, the lights on the system (which are actually annoying) wouldn't turn on, the machine would constantly crash due to the GPU overheating due the the voltage policy, due to the gaming software that Asus included with it. Now I have done a lot of tweaking due to forum articles I read on Asus's forums and have got it running well enough but for the price paid it was ridiculous. 3.5 Stars if I could 4 since I can't.
