Great monitor
|Posted .All around great display for the price. Currently using as a dual monitor with iMac and as a display for PS4. The resolution can't compete with the 5k of the Mac but it excels with the PS4 for gaming. Response time is excellent and there is no noticeable input lag time at all. The only cons are the lack of vertical height adjustment and the speakers. Asus hyped up the speakers but they do not deliver. Other than that, this is a terrific monitor.

Amazing monitors!
|Posted .I am using 3 of these on my gaming PC. Intel i7 4820k (liquid cooled) @4.4GHz, 16GB G.Skill RipJaws Z memory, 2 x EVGA GTX780 (liquid cooled) in SLI and the monitors make the gaming experience that much more enjoyable! The image is sharp and crisp and there are a lot of different pre-programmed image quality selections as well as the ability to adjust it to your own preferences. The small side bezels are perfect for the 3 monitor set-up. The only bad thing would be the bottom bezel which is really big compared to the sides/tops.

A good looking, great sounding, overperforming mon
|Posted .Purchased this monitor because I needed one that day and didn't want to wait for an order. My wife picked it actually, on looks alone, sure I checked to make sure it was a 5ms 60hz 1080p monitor, but the looks were really the selling point. Once I got this thing home, I put it through its paces on some light gaming and realised it did so relatively well, then I started experimenting with higher refresh rates and found that 74hz works for some reason and now this monitor is definitely decent. The lack of display port didn't affect my use as I hit that refresh rate over HDMI. The speakers were a great surprise, I didn't even know it had any, when I fired them up I found that had the quality of a good laptop speaker, world's better than alot of other monitors I've used and some tvs. I was going to give this monitor away once I received a better monitor in the mail, but now I think I'll keep it as a second screen. No regrets on this monitor, definitely recommended

Perfect fit
|Posted .Was searching for a supplemental monitor for the office as my laptop screen was just becoming too small, becoming especially challenging when trying to work on multiple documents at the same time. This allows for a much better viewing area, and easily allows for less eye strain when working on multiple items at the same time. Features / controls on monitor are easy to use. Last bonus - the B&O sound is very sharp - a pleasant surprise coming from a monitor.

Triple monitors
|Posted .I decided to go with 3 of these since they were on sale and replace my single 42 inch monitor when I got my new VR ready ASUS ROG computer. They look great! The scenic wall paper spans all three monitors and the beautiful scenery brightens the room. I plan to do some gaming with the monitors but haven't yet because I got the Oculus Rift with the package. Just have used the monitors for work and internet stuff.

Asus IPS 27" LED Monitor
|Posted .Awesome monitor. Brilliant colors, excellent refresh rate and easy to access Menu. I have two installed via the HDMI ports. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone who wants an improvement and the 27" size works well for today's resource intensive content.

Q: QuestionIs this monitor Mac compatible?Specifically, will it work with Apple TV?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Careful! While it "works" with a Mac, there is limited capability. There is no driver available for Macs, so it uses the monitor as a generic monitor. For instance, you cannot change the display size and have no capability to adjust the volume using your Mac, when using HDMI. The monitor was designed for Win 8, and only allows adjustments on Win-based computers.

Q: Questiondoes this monitor have an auxilary port for headphones
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. Usually your PC will have an auxiliary headphone output as well for headphones or external PC speakers. Remember to look for shielded headphones or speakers so things like monitor or WiFi routers won't impart a buzz/static into your speaker sound. Hope that helps!

Q: QuestionMatte or glossy screen?Does this monitor have a glossy screen with rich color or is it a matte screen? Thanks
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Matte. No glare and still pulls off rich color. I have two and I use dual monitor for gaming. By far the best monitors I've owned.

Q: QuestionPhoto editingI want two monitors that will be hooked up with VGA and HDMI..for photo editing..I need something that will show me on screen what I will see when printed...
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Can't answer dual monitor question but usually you need two video cards in PC. However, if I understand your second question correctly to see EXACT COLOR of printed picture on screen (as monitors tend to be much brighter than printer output) you need a monitor Calibration device and software that will set your screen to match printer output. An example of an easy to use device but somewhat pricey device is the Spyder 4 Pro. If you want to edit photos beyond redeye and brightness, you will need this device with even the best monitors. Good luck!

Q: QuestionIs there a DVI input on this monitor? In the product description it mentions a DVI-D input along with 2 HDMI and a VGA input. However after looking at the pictures, it seems that there is actually no DVI input, just the HDMIs and VGA. but I did notice that it says it comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Is this what they mean?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer Yes. The monitor doesn't have a dedicated DVI input, but comes with a cable to "convert" DVI to HDMI. DVI/HDMI are basically the same with different connectors, though sometimes the DVI cable won't carry sound. Luckily, mine is doing that just fine. If you're concerned about picture quality using the DVI adapter, don't be.

Q: QuestionWhich is better for gamming, this one or BENQ RL2455?Bought my nephew a tower now want to find a good cheap monitor
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Short answer: both are great monitors for gaming, depending on what you're looking for. Long answer: I was between this monitor and the RL2755HM, which is a larger version of the monitor you specified. Both have extremely low input lag, but the difference is in the display panel. Asus is IPS and BenQ is TN, which basically means the Asus monitor will have more saturated colors and the BenQ will look more washed out by comparison. The BenQ monitor you mentioned is specifically designed for console gaming and used in the Major League Gaming circuits, and it ends up having a very fast refresh rate of 1ms. The Asus monitor is 5ms, but I have to tell you, I personally can't tell a difference. Color was important to me, because I'm using this monitor for more than competitive gaming. Aesthetically, the Asus monitor looked better to my eye, more mature and high-end in its design, whereas the BenQ is built for gamers and has a gamer-focused design. I bounced between the two monitors for a long time and ultimately ended up on the Asus, but you can't go wrong with either monitor.
