Easy Peasy!

Printer needs to be a wireless printer as you cannot hook up one directly by usb. The computer turns on instantly, like a light switch! Shuts down the same way, and there is no fan noise....surreal...it is totally quiet. I use it pretty much like a windows product, and also with the android apps. Not much of a learning curve...pretty much intuitive. For a little over $150, it is perfect as an additional computer. Takes up very little space on the desk. Love it! The best thing of all is there are never any updates....all taken care of by Google!

Nice little setup

It works like a champ on netflix as well as other sites in hi-def. I bought it with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and I was on the web in no time. It also comes with this clip that will hide the unit. Basically, if you didn't buy a smart t.v., want a smart t.v., and don't want to buy a new t.v. for that reason, this is a great add on. I also intend on taking it with me when I go on road trips with the family. I think that it will prove quite useful in a hotel room when needing a map, needing to keep the kids entertained, or when looking for food.

I have used it for yahoo and google mail, to watch Amazon movies, listen to amazon music, to create documents in Google Docs, and spread sheets with macros in google sheets. I use Evernote, and other favorite web sites without any trouble. The Asus has worked as well or better than the Windows Laptop or iPad that I usually use, and almost as well as my new Mac. The only issue I have run into is that when I am on web pages with too much active content, lots of ads, or google maps, the mouse gets really slow and it seems like the computer is struggling to keep up. I consider this a small inconvenience when I look at what a good deal the Asus is. I'm using the Asus in place of an old windows machine, and an old Mac, and it is nice to be free of click and wait, and to have a computer that actually works.

Awesome Device

Ordered it in-store and it arrived quickly. Chrome OS is Super and I am quite pleased.

- A:Answer Works great for subscription services like Netflix. Will work the same as your laptop for downloads from websites. I also got rid of cable and use my TV as the monitor with the Chromebox. This is essentially a laptop processor configured to provide efficient web browsing and streaming, but won't improve bad downloads.

Q: QuestionCan a USB keyboard and USB mouse be used with this Asus Chromebox?I have several keyboards and mice that all connect via USB. Will they work with this Google Chrome system?

- A:Answer Yes. I have used wired and wireless. If you have Logitech wireless you will need to pair the keyboard and/or mouse to the receiver first, then it will work fine with the Chromebox. The recent Logitech wireless keyboards and mice I have purchased come paired, so they work out of the box with the Chromebox.

- A:Answer Some packages from some retailers include the keyboard and mouse. The Asus package from Best Buy does not. We use our own wireless input devices with no problem.
