- A:Answer There is a native Google maps/Navigation program on Android devices. The only problem is you're not connected to a network service driving down the road (Unless you have a mobile wifi hotspot).

Q: QuestionHow do you compensate for lack of USB Host?Since there is no USB Host, how do you move files to the unit? Do you have to tether it, or side-load stuff onto the Micro SD? With Moto, Tosh, and Acer you can use a USB flash drive, or a portable HD to move music, movies, pictures etc. to the device.

- A:Answer The tablet has a proprietary dock connector on the bottom. The tablet comes with a dock connector to USB cable for charging and data transfer. It is not as nice as a standard micro-USB cable (in my opinion) but it will work. It is a small concession to make in order to have the keyboard dock. You DO NOT require the keyboard accessory to transfer data. I got this from the Transformer's users manual on Asus' website. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWould I be able to download iTunes or their App store to purchase apple applications or games like the iPad?
Asked by John.
- A:Answer No. This is an Android device. iTunes is a proprietary software that is only used with Apple's iOS devices. Android is an open source operating system that can be used in conjunction with multiple application and music stores. Primarily among them is Google's Android Market and Amazon's Appstore for Android. You will find that the majority of apps have versions available on both platforms but they are not interchangeable. I personally like Android because I do not have to use the bloated iTunes software. If you like using iTunes or are invested into a ton a already purchased apple apps than this might not be for you. If you want to check out what apps are available for android check out www.android.com/market.

Q: QuestionIs Skype and Netflix (streaming) available and working on this tablet? With the front facing camera, will I be able to make video chat calls through a skype application on this tablet? If neither of these are available at this point in time, will it be available at some point in the future or should I look for an OS that is known to have them already?
Asked by Kujoj.
- A:Answer The Skype app is already available for this tablet but the video chat functionality is not supported as of yet (only text and voice chat works so far). Skype is working on this and should have a fully functional app available for download soon. Netflix is also on it's way to the Honeycomb OS.

Q: Questiondoes this have 3g or a sd card slotdoes this work with at@t and can you expand the memory
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This is a WiFi only model, so there is no 3G connection. But that means that there is no monthly charge for using it either. The tablet has a micro-SD card slot that you can use with up to a 32-GB card. The optional keyboard dock has a full sized SD card slot as well.

Q: QuestionCan I run my Powerpoint presentations on this; and even make changes to the slides?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The Transformer comes with an app pre-installed called Polaris Office 3.0 which will allow you to view and edit Word, Excel, and Power Point files. It doesn't have all of the functions of a full MS office version of Power Point, but it will allow you to view and make some changes while you're mobile and still preserve the original format and compatibility with your PC or Mac version.
