A: Answeryes, there are some real benefits to consider. Now you have two USB's, one being USB4. That means any E-GPU will work. Saves a ton of money with an increase of performance in that regard. Easy to install NVNM memory and its full size. Not to mention the increase from 512g to 1TB. Massive increase in Ram and the speed of ram is on par with Legion Go. You will see increase in FPS in some games. Not to mention overall increase in windows performance. The battery is now 80 watts, meaning twice the power. So double the gaming time on the go. They are saying 3 hours of heavy gaming now. There is a slight increase in size due to this. The buttons and joy sticks are better as well. Sd card slot moved to a different spot and overall better thermals. If you are looking for a new device and don't have an old Ally. This would be the one to get. If you can return or sell at a decent price the og Ally I would consider this. They fixed a lot of the issues the og faced.Answered by Branimal

- A: AnswerI would reach out to the manufacture. The system comes with a one year warranty. The first thing I would check is to make sure windows is up to date and and your hardware drivers and firmware are the latest. Depending on the game you may need to reduce the graphics settings of the game in order to play. I had the same problem with CyberPunk.

Best handheld Gaming Pc!
The Rog ally is an amazing gaming device. The Rog X is even better. Everything is upgraded except for the screen, that’s the same. The audio, buttons, ram, battery, internal storage, and ergonomics are better. The only thing I don’t like are the back m1 and m2 buttons. I prefer the original ally m1 and m2 buttons more but over all it’s a great portable gaming pc. it’s probably the best one on the market. If you already have an ally I don’t think it’s worth it to upgrade unless you just have money to spend like that, but If you don’t have one definitely pick this one up.

Ally X: The One Device for All
Phenomenal purchase. Imo, for gaming, what matters most is 4 things to me. Also windows on a handheld isn’t the most user friend UI. I will be honest but, the touch inputs are spot on and if all else fails, keyboard and mouse will fix any issue related to setup. Because once it is setup, touch controls are not an issue and the problems with windows 11 aren’t asus’s fault. Battery Life 5/5, lasts about 2 1/2 hours on battery on turbo mode. Thats far better then any labtop I’ve gamed on. Storage 4.5/5, only 1tb but isn’t challenging to upgrade storage Performance 5/5, using AFMF 2 allows this thing to hit way past 60 fps such as on elden ring. Phenomenal performance. Display, 4.5/5, not oled but there is a video on youtube that goes into depth about this. Its due to heat and battery life (surprisingly). Oled does look nicer but imo for 120hz VRR on a small 1080p screen, the Ally x that has more than enough power to comfortably run 1080p games with some adjustments. PS Play (Not ps remote play) once set up not only turns this into a ps portal but honestly can handle everything. - xbox game pass - Steam link - Bazzite OS for a legit steam deck experience if you hate windows and want a easy non windows experience - Emudeck for easy to install emulation - PS Play (originally pxplay, find on github) -You can install a theme on this to look like your favorite gaming system as well as a overlay on top of windows 11. The possibilities are endless as if you don’t have much time to game, this will bring back that joy. Best battery, best performance. If you’re worried about warranty, I highly recommend the best buy accidental drop protection. You’re treating yourself to a nice device, might as well spend the extra hundred or so to get that peace of mind. Cheers, best purchase I made in a long time.

Asus rog ally X vs MSI claw
The ASUS ROG Ally X is a marvel a powerful portable machine I made a comparison with the MSI Claw and the two ASUS ROG ally and both came out superior to the MSI Claw both consoles offer power Bruta and if you want a switch style console capable of running heavy games at high quality I recommend the Asus Rog Ally X for 800 dollars or less on sale, also Laptops with the same components are worth a thousand dollars up so if you don't want to spend so much money to play the Asus ROG Ally X is a good option 10/10
