Customers value the ROG Swift monitor's HDR, G-SYNC, and picture quality, with many praising the vibrant visuals and smooth gameplay. The high refresh rate is also a significant plus for users. However, some customers have noted concerns about fan noise and the high price point, while others reported issues with dead pixels upon receiving the monitor.
These monitors are top notch. I am not a gamer. I just wanted to use them with Zoom for video conferencing. I get great looking video from our office in San Francisco to my home office in Cypress. I have a laptop with two of these external monitors. Every couple of days, one of the monitors seems to go offline, but a computer reboot easily fixes the problem.

Bought this monitor today. Got it home and connected it to my pc with a 2080ti. No g sync, no overclocking of the monitor what so ever. I completely uninstalled drivers and reinstalled, uninstalled Nvidia control panel and reinstalled with no success. Notice in the photos the Gsync option is not available and anything higher than 60hz is not available because the monitor does not allow me to OC as it is supposed to. The monitor would not give me the option of overclocking. Many people boast about how good this monitor is and I say "nah, no way". I called Asus support to be told that they would call be back in 24-48 hours - I don't think so. You pay $2000 for a monitor, you expect it to work and dang sure expect to be helped in a few minutes, not 24-48 hours later (and that was expedited help and support they claimed). Saved up for a while for this monitor, still looking for a good monitor but I did learn that this is not one of them.

Pro: - Color accurate out of the box - HDR (blinding at times) - Little to no Backlight bleed due to FALD - Gsync Con - Expensive - Windows Scaling sucks due to its size (32 inch would have been the better option if it was available) - Will need a beefy PC to run - Fan noise from the monitor can be annoying If you have the money, it's the best monitor for gaming out there. Too bad Asus rollout for the Ultrawide is longer than expected as that would be the best monitor to run with the advantage of HDR. I hope nvidia gets a more affordable chipset without needing a fan to cool the monitor in the future.
