This was an upgrade from my T100TA, which at 5 years old, was getting long in the tooth. I was hoping for more improvements in performance than I got. It does do better at multitasking with twice the RAM; the CPU is a little improvement, but the Wifi is so much faster with the dual band 802.11ac. The magnetic keyboard attachment is great. Just get it in the neighborhood and it sucks it into place. The brightness of the screen is noticeably better and it can even be used in direct sunlight. The included pen works well, but the attachment for it is a loop for the pen clip on the side of the keyboard, not very secure. Also the speakers sound better and are louder, so they can be heard over ambient noise. The trade off of the Atom processor is long battery life, which is one thing I loved about the T100. You could use it intensively all day and still have battery to spare. This one is the same if not slightly better. No one within 100 miles had one on display so I had to do all my research online. Every site said it had a micro sd card slot, but when I looked at the close up pictures I couldn't find it. I finally found a Youtube video in Italian which was 5 minutes of someone gesturing at it and turning it over without ever turning it on. Maybe if I understood what he said it would have made sense. He did, however, open the kickstand (which I also like by the way) and there was the card slot hiding underneath. The old T100 had it on the side and it was easy to eject it accidentally; the T103 has it in a protected spot. My T100 came with MS Office installed and a license. The T103 come with Office Mobile which is free in the store and only has basic functions, After a month it wouldn't let me edit any files or create any new ones, it would instead open a window to Office 365 and want me to buy it. Kingsoft office is also installed which has full functionality, so that's what I use now. So, all in all, I like it, just not as much as I hoped I would. I wouldn't want it to be my only computer, I have a screaming fast desktop and a fast laptop for most things. But when I need small and portable, I grab it.

I love this simple, very useful, little unit. A full version of the Windows OS in the size of a tablet with a keyboard, these more than met my expectations. Previously I used an Asus Netbook for years. The quality of that mini pc influenced me to go for an Asus again, and the size was perfect. I would recommend this great little PC to anyone.
