This monitor is meant for gaming. This has the ability to run games on gorgeous graphics. The speakers on this is a really bad, so don't plan on using the external speakers for anything, but the price and quality you get from this monitor is well worth it. It is the most common pro gaming monitor at LAN events and it's clear why.

144hz. What’s not to like. The sound is adequate. And for an older monitor within this price and it’s refresh rate. I could recommend it more highly. I didn’t have much money left from my pc build, so I had to settle on something under 300. But the screen size is quite big and sits nicely in the spot where my old TV was.
