I love the specs, design, and performance. I decided to use it as my primary smartphone.

Never waste your money on any ZTE product. The only thing they have going for the newer models is great camera mp for front and rear thats all! These devices are the slowest, most useless waste of time labor parts and money you can come across. I wouldn't purchase a zte for a 3 year old in Sierra as a charity gift thats how horrible these devices run. I mean they give them out as government assistance phones free to the public for a reason. Because they are very cheaply made and are only good for calls or text though it may take 9 hours to get it to accomplish that.

I love the ZTE Blade Spark and feel like it's one of the best phones in this price range. You're getting a large 5.5 inch screen, 2GB ram, and a decent CPU (snapdragon 425) which is a lot of phone for what you pay for. This phone is definitely capable of being your primary phone not just a spare. I previously had a Huawei Ascend XT2 which had almost the same specs as the ZTE Blade Spark and was about the same price, but the ZTE Blade Spark is much better in many key areas. The first thing I like is that you can add an SD card and format it as internal storage. It's very important you can format it as internal storage, because it means your phone can use the SD card as an extension of its regular internal storage and therefore can utilize much more of the SD card for apps and data. In contrast, some phones only let you add an SD card and use it as portable storage, which greatly limits it's usefulness except for storing things like pictures and video. Secondly, I love the fingerprint reader which many phones in this price range do not have. Once you get used to a phone with a fingerprint reader, you can never go back. You can unlock your phone instantly and also the fingerprint reader doubles as another button which you can use for other things such as another camera button. Both the front and rear cameras take great pictures, which has been validated through many reviews comparing this phone's camera to others. Another nice thing is this phone comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box, while many phones are stuck with Android 7.0 or even Android 6.0 and cannot be upgraded. The screen is very nice to look at and so far battery life appears to be good. The phone feels much better in my hand than my previous Huawei phone, because I like the textured back, which helps the phone not slip out of my hands which is what happened with my previous phone which had a very smooth and slippery back. The speed of this phone is okay, although I feel like my previous Huawei phone was a bit snappier doing a few things, but in day to day use this phone is fine for most apps. Just don't try to run too many apps at one time on any of these budget phones. Overall I am very impressed with this phone!
