REALLY GREAT PHONE!!! GREAT PERFORMER!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a phone that could perform without lag and that was inexpensive. With all the new payment plans at the cell phone providers I decided I no longer wanted to participate in their "no contract" contracts and buy my next phone outright. I spent 6 months looking at different unlocked phones $250 and under. I have AT&T and like their service so this worked out great. Coming from an LG flagship phone, I didn't want to sacrifice anything and felt surely there are phones out there that don't cost $700 that work great. This is the phone. I have experienced zero lag. I don't play heavy usage games but I have played many games that others have struggled to play on their phones just fine. There is not much more to say about performance. It doesn't have a lot of bloatware to use up all the RAM. The 2 GB of RAM is what makes this phone so great. Don't let the smaller processor scare you. This thing runs like a beast. Sure, there will be some lag somewhere but the same is true for high end phones as well. For an 8 megapixel camera it takes pretty good pictures. If you hold it real steady the pictures look great but it is easy to get blurry photos if you're not careful. I was hesitant at first just because of the camera but another reviewer included a picture taken on the camera that helped me make the decision. I take most of our photos with my phone so the camera was VERY important. Compared to my wife's 8 megapixel phone camera this is way way better. The sound is decent. The rear speaker works well if you hold your hand behind it when watching videos. The speaker phone is not real loud and you have to hold it up to your ear if there is background noise like in a car but still good enough. The earpiece is decent, again not that loud but not bad enough to not love the phone. The ringtone and notification volume is really really loud. You definitely won't miss any calls or texts if you have the volume turned up. The phone itself feels solid and well made. The quality seems top notch and the soft rubber back makes it very comfortable to hold on to. You wouldn't know the thing is made out of plastic. Never owning a ZTE I didn't know what to expect. Although the screen is only 720p, all you see is bright and clear. You won't see a noticeable a difference between this screen and a 900p or 1080p screen. This is one thing I was a little nervous about before buying because I had not seen one in person that was turned on. As soon as I turned it on I was so so happy. Videos are bright and clear and I have yet to notice anything other than a clear high definition picture. Not sure what else to say except I cannot believe this phone was only $100. Plus it has a removable battery. Say what you want but I've had phones with and without a removable battery and when problems arose removing the battery for a second and putting it back in almost always solved the problem. I never thought I would buy a $100 phone. Not because there is something wrong with inexpensive phones I just never thought a phone this cheap would perform the way I need it to. Never again will I assume if I want a good phone I need to spend $500 or more. I sure am glad I bought this. Sorry for the long review but I always find more information is more helpful so I hope this helps someone. It's a great phone at a great price, you will love it. Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments.

Great No Contract Budget Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Flagship phone clonked out on me after 2 years and left me without a phone. I purchased this phone for $79 with no real expectations except for basic use. To my surprise it performed just as well as more expensive phones that I'd had in the past. It has a large screen, nice display & performed rather nice. I definitely recommend this phone.

No Complaints at All!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is very responsive, love the size of it, the features it has to offer, love the price for it, it's quality and value of it, camera images are very sharp, takes good pictures, mobile data is very good as fast as the speed of it, battery life is good.Overall the system performance is snappy for web, email, and productivity apps, gives you full screen resolution of the apps. I am glad I got it for $47.99 in the store. Thank you Best Buy for such a nice awesome, cool no contract phone. I've had no problems with it yet at all. Great phone is worth the price, working on AT&T network. Phone seem to be the size of a note 3, note 4. I love this phone until I cannot stay off it, LOL. So if you want one, I advise you to get one,

It's actually 16GB
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great experience so far! Best buy says 8gb but its really 16gb so thats a plus!! I had a LG Flex, screen cracked and I refused to jump on the "AT&T Next Program" boat so I got this device and I can't lie, I am stoked! It's a great device so far, no glitches or anything. It's a great display, clean Lollipop Android, great feel and I love the size. Coming from an LG I have to get used to the buttons on the side and the missing knock-knock feature but I'm totally satisfied with this purchase!! It's light and pretty basic look/feel. Calls are great & clear, speakers are on bottom back and even covered sounds good. Camera isn't out of this world, its a decent basic camera but it def gets the job done and for the price I'll take it!! I have posted a sample shot. My only con is so far, as I know, it does not have an IR blaster and I def used my phone as my remote at times. It also lacks NFC, but I never used that anyways.

One of the best phones I've ever had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro's: 1) It has virtually what any other smartphone has, for a fraction - literally - of the price. 2) People hate the camera: use Manual mode and HDR. It's not the best one out there, but it's not the worst. The weak part of it, as I can see (and my major is cinema) is the shutter speed. You won't get a lot of hi-speed freezes with this one. 3) Battery life is alien. Best battery life I've had out of ANY smartphone since 2008 - includes iPhones, Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC, Nokia, etc. Well, it doesn't beat my old Nokia Obamaphone, but heck, it's not a smartphone. It will also charge faster than any phone I've ever had, but USE A GOOD USB CABLE. If you don't, you won't. The one that comes with the phone is the one. I ordered some off Monoprice as backups that, as per benchmarks, will do the job hopefully. 4) It has a pretty recent version of Android. 5) Battery is removeable. 6) 64GB expansion slot - I use SanDisk Extreme 64GB, great for HD videos. Cons? 1) At the start, I was buzzed by the touchscreen. Sometimes it did not recognize my button presses, would make lots of keyboard mistakes. I got used to it, and it still happens, but it doesn't freak me out. Remember what you're buying here: it's probably the cheapest, most powerful Android device you'll own out of the box. 2) Weak support. Accesories, root, hacks, extra ROM's, all impossible or hard to find. Probably going to be stuck with this Android version until the phone dies. 3) Camera is not the greatest, but you have to try hard to get to that point. It's definitely not a beast, but with proper photo knowledge, you'll get by. Remember what you're buying here! Otherwise, there are no real cons. Just go out there and buy it. Heck, buy two. PS. I am uploading a picture I recently took with the HDR feature of the phone. This is in Rincón, Puerto Rico.

Amazing bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You will be hard pressed to find this amount of storage and feature set in another phone at this price. The large screen is just the right size for me, although it might be a little large if you carry in a pocket vs. a purse. The 2GB of ram is more than one usually finds in a prepaid phone and keeps apps running smoothly. Battery life is outstanding! The camera quality could be better but I mostly use it for scanning and incidental photography. Would buy again.

Fantastic value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an Android smartphone fan, and i have owned dozens of different Android models, and without a doubt, the Zmax 2 is by far the best budget smartphone there is. The phone features a high quality and nicely calibrated 5.5 HD screen, 16gb of onboard storage, plus the ability to expand with an SD card, and the Android 5.0 Lolipop skin is very close to stock Google, so the phone is very responsive and the performance rivals that of phones 3 times more expensive. The only cons that I could think of are the AT&T apps that are unnecessary, and take precious storage space, and that the unit is probably stuck on Android 5.0, but that's to be expected since is a budget phone. Bottom line is that in my humble opinion, there is simply no phone at this price point that comes close to the value of this unit. Great screen, great battery life, good ammount of storage plus the ability to expand, and a camera that is surprisingly decent for the price of the unit make this a steal. Highly recommended.
