The direct-drive engine provides playback for both 33 1/3 & 45 RPM records, with a cast aluminum platter and thick damping mat housed together in a structure that has been engineered for minimum chassis resonance, while skillfully retaining the discreet look that complements today's listening environments.
Q: Does this unit have auto arm return? Does it have a pre-amp?
A: It is an excellent manual turntable. As such, it does not have an automatic return arm. Manual turntables require you to place the tone arm down with the cueing lever to start listening to the record, and lift it with the cueing lever when it's finished. But they sound much better than automatic turntables, because there are no additional motors idling constantly to create vibrations that are transmitted through the stylus to your ears. It does have a preamp.
Q: does it have an automatic stop when it gets to the end of a record?
A: The AT LP5 turntable not an automatic turntable. It is a completely manual one. You need to use the cueing lever to start listening to the record, and to return the tone arm to its resting place after the record is finished. Because manual turntables do not have an additional motor dedicated to operating the tone arm, there are fewer vibrations that might distort the sound.
Q: Does it come with a dust cover? I read somewhere you have to pay extra for it.
A: Yes, a dust cover is included at no additional cost.

Q: I understand this item is SOLD OUT. Is there a wait list for this item ?
