    Features

Supports up to 4K UltraHD (4096 x 2160 pixels) resolution

To help get the best picture from your 4K source.

    High dynamic range (HDR) pass-through

Significantly increases the range of both color and contrast, which creates an even more vibrant and realistic picture.

    Solid 5% silver-plated conductors

Eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Provide the benefit of solid silver, reducing distortion and digital timing errors.

    Directionality

Fabricating metal conductors causes a directional grain structure. By controlling the resulting small impedance variation at radio interference frequencies, the cable can drain noise away from where it will cause distortion.

    Lifetime limited warranty

Lifetime repair or replacement in cases of defect.

    Foamed polyethylene insulation

This HDMI cable uses air-filled foamed polyethylene insulation for maximum signal strength.

    Carbon-based three-layer noise-dissipation system (NDS)

Prevents captured RF interference from modulating the equipment's ground reference. Metal and carbon-loaded synthetics prevent most RFI from reaching the equipment's ground plane.

    High-speed data capacity

This AudioQuest HDMI cable exceeds the requirements for all possible HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 data streams, including 4K UHD, HDR, and Blu-ray Ultra HD. Active frequency equalization enables 18 Gbps over long distances.

DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE ON WEB AND YOUTUBE!!!

I fell for the people who claimed to be in the industry entire lives and professional web companies to show testing and explanations on how hdmi is a huge scam to make money off gullible suckers. Listen don't make that mistake like me. I tested audioquest cinnamon, carbon and monster black platinum. first of all the audioquest cables blew away monster. Second of all what are these companies and people online looking at when they say all cables are exactly the same I don't get it. Anyone with half a brain can see and hear the difference. Ok let me explain it like this, so they say all hdmi is the same right, so your telling me a mcdonalds mass produced chemical and hormone infused pretend beef hamburger is the same as a 100% real chuck USDA prime burger from a 5 star restaurant? think about that for a minute, compare your cheap 3 dollar out of country hdmi cable that's mass produced with much cheaper parts and lack of technology to a quality man made higher quality parts hdmi and tell me you don't see a difference or hear a difference please give me a break!!! I beg you to go buy audioquest vodka specifically that cable which is currently just under $300 and compare it to a hong kong $3 hdmi and watch and hear how amazing the vodka is. LISTEN IF I CAN SAVE JUST A FEW PEOPLE FROM NOT BELIEVING THAT ALL HDMI CABLES ARE THE SAME THEN I CAN SLEEP EASIER. If you have a 4k tv or a high end 1080p tv and or a expensive sound system buy the vodka cable now!!! You willl be saying or thinking thank goodness I read and listened to that review I PROMISE YOU!!!!

Don't be Fooled by Expensive Cables

Don't let salesman trick you into buying expensive HDMI cables. They don't make a different in quality of picture or sound. Some salesman will claim an expensive HDMI cable is needed for a 240HZ television. This is completely false as the processing takes place after the signal gets to the television. HDMI provides a digital signal made up of zeros and ones. There is a special format in which the data is sent to increase efficiency but this is not the forum to elaborate on that. While a more expensive cable can look better, it does nothing to alter the digital signal in a way that will improve the pictures. All the positive reviews here are wishful thinking by people justifying their purchase. Granted, a very cheap cable might not be as well built with a connector that might be a little less sturdy. However, if the HDMI cable works, then you are already getting the best picture possible. Especially on 3 feet foot run. Signal degradation on that distance is virtually impossible. The only area a better cable might help is on a very long run, over 20 feet. Generally, an hdmi cable either works or it doesn't. This is not the old days of analog where the cable was subject to attenuation and stray signals. The only instance a higher quality cable might help is on very long runs. Even then, you still don't need to spend an outrageous amount of money. I purchased a 59.00 cable that was 75 feet long and it worked perfectly. Im sure the manufacturer will disagree and they should as they need to support their product. However, do some research on your own. I can almost grantee that if you did a blind test with anyone on here who gave stellar reviews, they would not be able to tell the different. Its amazing how a placebo can have an effect like that.

You Get What You Pay For - No Shortcuts with UHD

I have an award winning theater with over $100,000 in 4k native electronics. McIntosh Sound (MX122, MVP901, MC207, MC152, MPC1500, Oppo DVD, Monitor Audio Platinum II Speakers, Sony 4K Native Projector, Stewart 130" filmscreen. Let's see - 2 choices, cheap cables for the HDMI interconnects, or spend some money! Believe it or not, I tried cheaper and had UHD sync issues and "4k not supported" issues intermittently. Why connect 100k in gear with $50 in cables? Replaced with all AudioQuest Carbon and *BOOM* - everything looks and syncs flawlessly. Worth every penny. These puppies in all lengths are large diameter and very stiff. Not as easy to work with in tight spaces but you can "train" them to conform.

I bought the Cinnamon cable and saw a huge difference in picture quality. I use to have just regular cheap Dynex cable before and trust me the Audioquest cables make a huge impact on how we view our movies. I then upgraded to the Chocolate which made the picture even a little bit more realistic saw things I didn't even know what was there, also the sound was crisper. Then finally I then exchanged it for the Carbon cable which I have currently which even takes it to a whole new level. The images I saw before in the Chocolate cable, it even stands out more with the Carbon cable, even the sound is much richer. It just keeps getting better I'm even thinking about exchanging it for the next level to Vodka!!!!! OMG! This is KRAZY! I'm sold on these cables and I enjoy my movies, especially my action movies, the detail and sound that come out of my system is just UNBELIEVABLE!!!! AUDIOQUEST4LIFE!!!!!

I bought 3 of these Carbon cables to replace existing Monster Cable HDMI, and WOW, what a difference. The Monsters were the braided Ultra Series, cost me $100+ a pop a few years back – so not an entry level version by any stretch. These AQ Carbon not only improved the sound quality with better clarity and definition throughout the range, it was a pleasant surprise that they also improved picture quality. I never realized I had the problem because it was always there, but after installing these cables a certain amount of image jitter was eliminated. It was most noticeable on text, tickers, logos and fine edges. At +$200 per cable, it’s tough to swallow, but if someone told me I could get better sound and picture quality out of my existing equipment that I’ve got thousands invested in for just a couple hundred bucks, I’d say that is money well spent.

just to let everyone know audioquest is the best i had the monster 1000 for 2 years on my 3d led tv and the picture was ok but the guys at bestbuy kept on telling me to go with the audioquest well i didnt listen right away i seen that the monster 2000 came out and i was like wow that should be awesome quality well i bought one and it was not that much of a difference from the 1000 so i said you know what i went and bought the audioquest chocolate and the picture was awesome but i knew that the carbon was the next step up it had direct silver contacts so i bought one and it is even better than the choclatre but do not buy the vodka the carbon is the same in the picture quality its just the sound that is alittle better so dont waste your money on the vodka im using the fiberoptic monster for my audio on my home theather system so im buying these cables for the picture but i know what the sound quality is on these cables because the sound still comes out of my tv speakers so if you want a step better than the choclate go with the carbon but dont waste your money on the vodka unless you have like a 5,000 home theather system but i can tell you this the carbon blows the monster 2000 cable out of the water and the m 2000 is the best monster cable it is also 350.00 for 8ft too which is a rip off

A nice upgrade from my Cinnamon cable

      Posted
      Hawkeye888

People who say there is NO difference between HDMI cables are just trying to justify to themselves to go cheap. Now it does depend on what you are connecting the cable between. If you put this Carbon HDMI on a Cable or Satellite box, you probably won't see that much of a difference compared to some middle grade cables. I connected this cable from my PS3 to my Samsung to first test it, then to my receiver. It was a nice upgrade from my previous Cinnamon cable, which is already a great cable in it's own right. The picture's motion was a bit smoother with gaming and faster action. I also noticed that film grain looked a little cleaner, not sure why though. The biggest upgrade was with my audio though. Everything sounded a little crisper with more detail. I also noticed that the sound fields were more distinct. Again not sure exactly why, but I will take the upgrade. All and all if you want the best quality, go Audio Quest and specifically a Carbon HDMI. You never have to upgrade your HDMI again with one of these guys. Downfall though is that it is a little pricey.
