Just Make Sure It’s Pointing the Right Way
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased this cable way back when the HDMI standard was at 1.4. That worked great for about a year with my Panasonic 3D TV, but then with 4K, the HDMI standard changed to 2.0. I quickly bought a 4K TV and this new 2.0 cable, as it exceeds speeds of 18 gigs. The Panasonic 3D went upstairs (to mom’s) and I now use the old, outdated 1.4 diamond cable with my 22 inch Vizio to maximize its 1080p (progressive scan). The new diamond 2.0 cable looks and sounds amazing and has completely changed my set-up to a home theater like experience. I‘m running Polk speakers with an uber-powerful Onkyo receiver. What’s nice about this HDMI cable is the coating on the exterior sheath—no matter how hot my receiver gets, this diamond cable stays cool to the touch. It’s also got internal directional neo-demonite silver quartz plating at 100% for solid silver conduction, which is higher than all others. Just make sure the little directional arrow is pointing at the TV and NOT the receiver. I learned this the hard way when my receiver overheated (had the HDMI direction wrong). Thank God for Monster. They actually reimbursed me when the surge bar caught fire. But that’s another story! For the 4K TV, I went with the 65 inch A1E oled originally, but then Sony released their A9G master series, so I upgraded to that instead— it gets 100 nits brighter (and has better blacks). The old OLED went upstairs (to mom’s) and it’s still a nice TV that serves her purposes (Fox News). But enough about mom, this new diamond cable is incredible! I can see things using this cable that I never could on my old Panasonic 3D TV. Everything appears much sharper and there are more colors than the human eye could possibly ever distinguish. It’s like looking out of a window (which I don’t have down here). That’s the other nice thing about using the Best Buy credit card, I don’t have to come up with the money for nearly two years and won’t pay a dime in interest: no having to sell off my Star Wars collection to pay. The best part about this cable is that it delivers the highest possible connection so that no data is lost or corrupted in the process of transfer between the 4K player, TV, and receiver. I’m still using a Rocketfish HDMI cable to connect the 4K player to the receiver (until I have money to buy an additional diamond cable), but once the signal hits my receiver and goes through the diamond cable to the TV, everything just keeps getting better! I highly recommend this cable to anyone who is remotely interested. It will change your life. You can’t put a price on cool. Now, if they would just stop the nonstop fracking where I live.

The diamond and gold and silver mixture is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The diamond really helps out the noise and static. It is insane. Most people have no idea what they are talking about, espeally saying its just 1 ands 0s, while yes, that is correct it is but there is always outside interference and this thing called electricity that cables and devices pick up, this is called "noise" That noise is much more reduced with better cables. Will this transmit the same data as a $30 dollar cable? yeah probably but I bet that 30$ cable won't have the shielding or the quality that you believe. Also if you are going to buy high end cables, Please use them on high end devices, chances are you won't notice on your $300 Vizio TV(a bottom of the barrel TV )

Spendy. . . but worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These reviews are funny but when it comes to true quality this cable can't be beat. The price is high of course which will shy away most people from buying but take it from me if you have the money to splurge and a great TV with a great audio system this is a wonderful addition to that collection. The cable is made from Silver which means it will always retain value. I own a Samsung 55F8000 with my Samsung F7500 Bluray player and it can't be beat I'm just glad they finally sell the 6.6 ft one on Best Buy since the 2 ft just isn't long enough for my mounted needs. Thank you for reading my review.

bust!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You would be better off just getting a Cinnamon Hdmi if your looking for really good quality. Even at 80.00 that's pretty steep for the cinnamon. No difference in picture or sound regardless of what you purchase. If you don't believe me, research for yourself.

Q: QuestionShould I rotate my TV diagonally when using this cable?

Q: QuestionWhat hdmi spec does this cable support?Does this cable support full 3D?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Sorry to say this cable will only deliver 1/2 3D not full 3D... or as we call it in the industry, 1.5D. To get an approximation of what 1.5D looks like, close one eye, then not blink the the other for as long as you can stand it. What you see at that moment right before you yelp in pain, with snot pouring out your nose and a steady stream of tears pouring down your face, is a very close approximation of 1/2D.

Q: QuestionIn what world would someone buy this?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer In the same world as those who buy a Bugatti, Rolls or $1M Lambo! People who have more money than they can spend, who are too stingy and selfish to give it away, but who want to say "look what I have and you don't" to other rich people or to very well off people for social 'distancing...'
