My husband and I bought our Aviron four months ago. It was a big purchase and I was nervous it would become a clothing rack. As a fairly sedentary 30-something who works from home, I've never been one to enjoy working out. The Aviron has changed that for the most part. When we made the leap and purchased, I set a goal for myself to row a million meters within a year. Four months later, I'm more than halfway there and my pace in hitting that goal is increasing. I started with Coach Austin's Intro to Rowing series in the coached workout section because I had never rowed before. Learned the basics there and built a bit of stamina. Moved on to the Row 20 series from there and improved my form. Then I spent a few weeks just watching Netflix and rowing. Just about the time my motivation started to wane, Aviron's rowing coach Carry posted a challenge in the Aviron Facebook group to row 43k meters in a week. I had been rowing about 25k/week the past weeks so this was quite a challenge. But I started playing games with other rowers and hit the goal. I felt so accomplished. Now I'm in a Row Breaker, a pong-like game, phase and want to complete a whole game in one session. That's over an hour of rowing without stopping. I never would have dreamed of doing that four months ago, but it is attainable to me now. I've also lost 25 pounds since I started rowing combined with counting calories. TL/DR: My Aviron is not a clothing rack and the number of options available has kept me motivated.

I love my Aviron Impact Rower. It's the best purchase that I've made. I've rowed 4.8 million meters since September 2022. Aviron has many coached, game, guided, and scenic row programs. There are structured programs consisting of several to many individual programs that eliminate the decision on what to do next. Some of the monthly challenges include the number of calories burned, amount of time rowed, and number of programs completed. It's fun to join others by finding them in the Group Lobby. Aviron has a leadership board to see where you rank amongst those in your age bracket, friends, and global users. Gamification sets Aviron apart from other connected rowers. That makes it a great fit for me as the coaches in streamed rowing classes can't provide feedback for me to adjust stroke rate, split time, or watts. Check out the YT channel and the FB group with incredibly supportive members.

I can not say enough great things about my Aviron! I have had it for six months now and I am absolutely addicted! I have met so many wonderful people in the Facebook group and everyone is so supportive of everyone else. This machine is solid!! Graphics are vibrant and the interface is easy to use. You can watch Netfix or other steaming services while rowing, virtual row on one of several lakes around the world, or join in a game with friends! There are some days I mix things up and other days I go long and just choose one area to focus on. You will not be bored or disappointed with this exercise machine purchase. Buy it and watch your journey and achievements unfold. I LOVE MY AVIRON!!
