Amazing device!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to save money so I didn’t get the plug and play harness. I went ahead and tapped into some OEM wires. The OEM harness has really small wires, maybe 22 gauge. Butt connectors, tap connectors, and crimps did not work for me. I ended up having to solder as the OEM wires were too skinny for those crimp-type connectors. So I ended up having to redo everything because my interface kept getting errors. Also, don’t be color blind like me and connect the green/yellow instead of the green/orange. Green/orange looked more like green/brown to me. So it took me 2 hours too long to install this. Instructions were clear and easy, but the colors were off to me. After getting everything right, the interface just autodetected everything without me having to do anything except turn the key to on. All the buttons were mapped automatically. Now the volume, seek, disp (display), and hands free buttons work! It’s really cool how you can add second functions to your buttons with long press, but I got impatient and didn’t want to utilize them. I really want to know if mute works on my stereo because my stereo doesn’t have a mute function natively.

Works as stated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this since the iDatalink Maestro RR I recieved from another source did not work since they do not have a guide nor a premade harness for the 2014-up Mazda 6. I return the Maestro RR and bought the this. I downloaded the instructions from the website and within 30 mins of following the clear and precise instructions, I had functioning steering wheels control with my Pioneer MVH-2300NEX.

Only one that actually works
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works better than anything else ive found. I replaced my wore out radio with a pioneer avh-120bt and lost the steering controls. Ive hotwired things to get it to work, ive gone off pioneers recommendations, even other products, that advertise for this exact model and truck. Nothing. This ones works.

Good decision
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating whether I really needed steering wheel controls especially since between the interface and installation, it added about $120 to the already higher than expected total for the whole system. I am glad that I decided to go ahead and buy the steering wheel interface and installation. I use the steering wheel controls more than I did with the factory radio. I am glad that I spent the money and have operational steering wheel controls!

Q: QuestionWill this let me change the head unit in my 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada and keep my steering wheel controls working? I need a new head unit but love being able to use the controls on my steering wheel.
Asked by Jesse.
- A:Answer yes, but you need to make sure to pick the correct model for your car, check the manufacture web site but buy it from best buy. i think the manufacture only sells the upgraded version on there site which is 3x as much money and this one works just fine.

Q: QuestionWill it work on a 2012 Camry with a pioneer 1400 nex ..will it give me car info..tire pressure etc as the factory unit did..if not ,what should I get ..
Asked by Krazypig.
- A:Answer You need a maestro rr adapater for your vehicle in order to get tire pressures and all other info on your aftermarket unit. This is for your steering wheel controls which is a completely different unit. You will need both.
