Outstanding product. Play well in both computer and DVD/blue ray player.
I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews! This movie is absolutely HILARIOUS! I'm not a mom, but if you are a mom, I'm sure you'll laugh even harder than I did. I think some people are too serious nowadays and movies like this aren't funny to them. Mila Kunis did a great job in this movie as being an over-worked and under appreciated mom and she changed her routine and it brought success! This movie IS worth your time. Just watch it and enjoy!
Im a film collector and own just about every film that gets released. We watch all films on a 180" screen in either 1080p or 4k! I even purchase films that are already available on Hulu, Netflix, & Amazon Prime as I am able to upscale them to almost perfect 4k resolution from 1080p. This is something I cannot do streaming. I say that because streaming in 4k is a HUGE data waste! I use just under 1TB in downloads a month at 1080p. 4k is not pheasable on even the best plans unless you only watch a couple films a month. 'Bad Moms' wasn't a whim purchase, every week I buy films at BestBuy and this particular film I bought about 30 days past released because certain films just don't fit my criteria for paying release day prices. With that said I wouldn't have been upset had I paid full price for this film. It was surprisingly fun and the writing was good. As a guy who watches every 'chick flick' with his wife.... I found myself smiling and chuckling with this film!
This movie is pretty good. Relatable to this era of American families.
The work/life balance of single moms vs the life/PTA balance of having young kids creates an entertaining atmosphere for the film. MIla Kunis standing up for herself essentially leads to an entanglement with the mean girls mom group.
Fun movie and entertaining.
I have to say I am disappointed with the lack of comedy movies that are truly laugh out loud funny. They don't make them like they used to. That being said, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how funny this movie was. It is raunchy and foul-mouthed, but it had more than a few moments were it was laugh out loud. Probably not a classic or anything but it is so worth watching if you are looking for a good laugh especially compared to the non-funny "comedy" movies out there the past 10 years.
When I first bought this I didn't know what I was getting into. It's basically a story of a single mom (Mila Kunis) who has this crazy life working a full time job, taking care of her kids, and having to deal with a soon to be ex husband and still trying to find time to go out on a date now and then. She ends up being friends with 2 other moms from the school her kids go to and that's where all the fun begins. It's an awesome movie with some pretty good laughs. I'd recommend it for a late night comedy.
This movie was crazy and funny!! But it does have a great story line as well!! Double win!! I think parents need to relax!! Don't feel like you need your children in EVERYTHING!! This movie allows parents to see that everything in moderation is best. That includes, the available time a child has to be a child and still get in some sports or music training, as well as the moderation of the amount of alcohol one might take in. Sometimes kids just want that time spent with their parents. And that's a good thing, in my opinion.
I read all the reviews and thought this would be a hilarious movie. It was not near as good as I thought and hoped it would be. I was a little disappointed. It was pretty predictable and not as funny as it could have been. I thought that the characters were very unrealistic. It seemed that for all the characters (except the main one - played by Mila Kunis), were very stereotypical of a certain type of person/mom, etc., with little changing.
There were funny parts, but overall I wish I hadn't wasted my money and free time.
