The best air plugs with noise canceling
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design is amazing small and powerful The material used is high quality The sound is great The noise canceling works very well It has a transparency mode that helps a lot to use than without to take it out to have a talk with someone that you just met in your run The only concern is the connection with the phone that sometimes not connect automatically at start

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So excited to purchase these and then truly let down. The size was what made me purchase these over the Bose. That was until I listed to them. My free iphone ear pods sound better. Bass and mid bass was bad on all types of music. Just very dirty and distorted. Also volume is vey low. Set up app and everything. Super disappointed as I hve B&O home speakers. Went with the Bise even though they are so big. But sound with the Bose is simply amazing.

Amazing Earbuds, Garbage App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's get one thing straight about the folks posting that the volume is too low on these things: there's something about the Beoplay app that, when used to pair the earbuds, messes with the max volume to where they sound terribly quiet. I suspected this to be the case when I downloaded the app AFTER manually pairing the earbuds via Bluetooth. After deleting the app and forcing my phone to forget and pair with the buds again, the volume issue was solved instantly. Everything else about these things were amazing, from the portability to battery life. I don't sit and listen to music for hours at a time, so 4 hours by themselves without charging in the case is more than enough for me. The fit can be strange depending on how large or small your ears are. Worst case scenario, they stick out a bit more than you'd like, but they'll still stay in (thanks to the comply earbuds they come with). The left ear bud issue with it cutting out was never a problem with me, in fact I've never experienced it once. However if I pull the left bud far away enough from the right, it does cut out, which leads me to believe that people just... Have unusually wide heads unfortunately. All in all, I myself have not experienced a single issue beyond the app being complete garbage. Don't bother downloading it all.

Awesome Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok first thing is the sound on these things is awesome. I've tried the elite active 65t n it's better then those. Also tried the Sennheiser momentum and although they sound great the B&Os are a bit louder. I love the look on these, they look sleek. And the comfort is amazing. I wear these 4 hours and they don't hurt my ears. These ear buds are incredible. But they do have some negatives. I have these paired to an iPhone and Samsung. When I take them out the charging case and turn them on I have to connect them thru the Bluetooth settings. I just have to connect them by clicking on them on my list. The elite active 65t automatically connect to both my devices at the same time. I can watch movies on one phone and then receive a call on the other phone. Also when I have them in my ear and don't use them cause let's say I'm taking to someone they will turn off and disconnect. I guess to save battery. So I have to turn them on and go to my Bluetooth settings and hit on them to connect. But aside from that they sound ridiculously good.

B&O tried but ultimately failed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like B&O products, they are premium but they're well-built, stylish, and have top notch audio quality. Their Bluetooth speaker (BeoPlay A1) is one of my favorite speakers. I'm not a fan of their H9i headphones but I enjoy my H7's. That being said, I'm not sure what they've done with these earbuds but they aren't very good. B&O was able to pack a bunch of tech in here. The touch controls actually work, I like that I can let in outside noise and actually amplify it a bit, and the custom (but limited) EQ is also a nice touch that too many companies look over. The charging case is compact and relies on USB-C, they even made it textured. The earbuds magnetically snap into place and they're coming out with a new charging case, and stand, that support wireless QI charging. The earbuds themselves are extremely lightweight and comfortable, I could wear these for hours without issues. The included ComplyFoam tips were my favorite and always kept the earbuds in place. I didn't have to adjust them during an exercise sessions. Their audio quality was also really good. I ended up boosting the bass a bit but the stereo separation, clear highs, detailed mids, and rumbling lows were all a delight for a pair of earbuds. The part where B&O messed up is the connectivity. These would disconnect from my phones way too often. During a 1-hour exercise session, these would disconnect 6 times. That's just unacceptable whenever other companies (Apple and Bose) have it figured out. At first I thought it was my phone (iPhone XS Max) so I tried them with my work phone (Note9) and the results were the same. There weren't any firmware updates or anything like that. I think it was the review from The Verge that was pretty spot-on with these. There is a lot to love but their connectivity is killer. I exchanged my pair for a second just in case and the results were exactly the same. I even took them into a B&O store and they didn't know what to do. They had a pair that I could try and they did the same thing. The sales person didn't act very surprised and said the only thing they could do is send them off for repair. So I returned my earbuds and bought a different pair (Jaybird Runs). They were a slight improvement when it came to the connectivity issues so I returned those for something else. I really wanted to like these earbuds. They are sleek, have great sound quality, the touch controls actually work, USB-C charging is great, and the companion app is easy to use. But it's hard to like a pair of wireless earbuds if they are always disconnecting from the audio source. It didn't matter if I was at the gym, my office, outdoors, walking downtown, or at home. These would constantly skip and, to me, that makes them unusable.

Very good, with a few caveats
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've waited quite some time to write this review. I had purchased and returned a few other competitive pairs, but I kept these despite their price. I like them, I recommend them, they sound excellent, and the battery life is very good and conveniently recharged with the case. My reason for not giving it 5* is the dependency on the software to pair and upgrade the headphones. It's just not very intuitive, or frankly very good. Sound - 5 (High end/low end improve with seal/better buds) Comfort - 5 (I can wear them all day) Convenience - 5 (No wires is awesome) Durability - 5 (dropped multiple times, even put through washing machine once on accident)

Can’t keep them in
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is amazing but unfortunately you can not keep them in. Initially they stay in but t it loses retention and falls out. I had my wife tried them and she had the same experience. If it would stay in it would be amazing

Comfortable, Good Looking, Good Sound, Bad App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me almost two days to update the firmware. Initially the app couldn't find my earbuds or crashed. I constantly had to reconnect as I would loose connections when I put them away. Those were the negatives. It seems to get better with time. No more connection issues. I wish the sound had more bass and got louder. I do like the touch controls and foam tips. So long as you get a good seal in your ear, it sounds good and blocks out a lot of the noise. Aside from the lack of AptX, USB C and Bluetooth 5, its a good product.

Q: QuestionHow is the bass???
Asked by Gary.
- A:Answer The bass is great for me personally, but I like nice crisp sounds not muddy; does a good job of accurate reproduction of the track. If you like very strong bass like in Beats or Sony then you might not be happy with B&O as they will not overdrive. I would also suggest downloading the app for them, it gives greater control for EQ like settings plus has presets for a few scenarios (Commute, Clear etc.) built in.
