- A:Answer NOOK itself does not come pre-loaded with any content. However, the Barnes & Noble eBookstore offers hundreds of thousands of free titles through Public Domain works and many high-quality titles are available for as low as $0.99! Not only does NOOK offer an extensive collection of FREE and low-cost titles, the features of the NOOK device make it stand out from the crowd. With our exclusive LendMe(TM) technology, your daughter can loan eBooks to friends through their BN.COM accounts and her friends can loan her eBooks through their accounts as well.

Q: QuestionDoes the Nook let you read books from sources other than BN.com?
Asked by Andy.
- A:Answer NOOK supports a wide variety of formats, most common of which are ePub, PDF, and PDB for eBook content, JPEG and GIF for graphics and MP3s for music and audiobooks. If you have content in a supported format from sources other than B&N.COM that you would like to read on NOOK, you can easily load it onto your device through a USB connection to any PC or Mac.

Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer With NOOK you can connect for FREE inside any B&N store and at any AT&T WI-FI hotspot, which includes McDonalds, Starbucks, and many other locations you likely visit. With NOOK’s touchscreen keyboard, you can also connect to password-protected Wi-Fi networks, and even enter payment information if any is required. However, if you have no WiFi networks accessible and you find content online that you would like to read, you can connect NOOK to any USB 2.0 compatible Mac or PC and sideload supported file types to read on NOOK.

Q: Questiondifference between nook 3g wifi and just the wifi
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The 3G is the only difference and that basically just gives you the freedom to be in more places to download books. For example, if you go on a lot of vacations, travel a lot, or don't have wireless in your house then you will benefit from the 3G because you are basically connecting to cell phone towers to connect to the Internet and its free.
