This safe is perfect for security of personal items (even handguns). It is compact enough to keep in a closet, under the bed, or even beside the bed. Don't mistake the word, "compact" for flimsy...this safe is made so well. "Tough" is the word I think about when I see it...Tough in appearance as well as tough enough to keep everyone out except the fingerprints you have programed into the memory!!
