Little Book (Exclusive Review)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So nobody is telling you about the book, well Farhan is here to tell all! It's a less than 7 Inch Tall x 4.5 Inches+ 128 Page Hardcover Book, it's smaller in width than the Blu-Ray Case but taller in height which I have clearly pictured. Inside is a collection of Batman 66 stories covering Batman 66 Issue #1 The Riddler's Ruse, Part 1: Mirth From Above, #4 Emperor Penguin, #6 Chandell's Chanteuse, #7 The Joker Sees Red & #10 The Hatter Takes the Crown. All of these Stories are awesome but you already own all of Batman 66 Comics. Now on to the Movie while Batman is my favorite TV Show of All-Time, watching this was just weird, the 3 main stars sound old and the story is nowhere as good as the TV Show or Batman 66 but I am giving it 5 Stars out of respect but feel free and wait to see it via that brightly colored box in a few weeks or streaming subscription in a few months. Extras Those Dastardly Desperados (10:29) A Classic Cadre of Voices (10:01) Extras is a variety of DC executives and Voice actors from this movie telling you about the characters and playing the characters so no, it's not Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar being awesome and your being entertained to no end. I hope the sequel in 2017 with William Shatner voicing Two-Face as the main antagonist is a lot better than this. POW!

Holy Bat Nostalgia! Fun Retro Campy Bat Goodness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main reason I bought this latest entry in DC Animation Studios' ongoing friendly competition with Marvel(now all of a sudden DC is trying to establish its own "cinematic universe with continuity" a la Marvel in theaters) is to get the trade paperback of "Batman '66" miniaturized to fit in box set with Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack, just in time for holidays(that came & went)! I fortunately waited a spell to get the Best Buy comic/Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack on sale @ $18. This "Batman: Return of Caped Crusaders" is naturally a tongue-in-cheek campy fun, lighthearted look when the "Dark Knight" was not dark at all but a playboy Bruce Wayne by day/bumbling Caped Crusader with his "ward" Robin & loyal butler Alfred by his side. It was blissfull to see '60s incarnations of Julie Newmar Catwoman & Cesar Romero Joker, among others. If you enjoyed "Batman: Return of Caped Crusaders", you will definitely LOVE "Lego Batman Movie" in theaters now! Looking forward to DC Animation's "Teen Titans: Judas Contract" soon!

Rock em, sock em fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hoo boy, it had to happen! You knew EVENTUALLY they were gonna pull these guys outta mothballs and- it's FUN!! Far more fun than I thought it was gonna be! I bought this on impulse and honestly, I can say this fulfills three criteria: 1. It respects the original actors. 2. It respects the original show. And 3. It respects the audience. It offers the old style, has actors who are a great equivalent to the departed actors (Adam, Burt and Julie are still alive AND active) , plus it addresses ALL THREE CATWOMEN in a great tease shot! If you don't buy this animated wonder, you at least owe it to yourself to rent or check it out from the library. I left off one star because the extras are kind of thin, but it's the movie that counts. I want more! Do yourself a favor! You won't be disappointed. Grab some Mr. Pibb, a stack of Reese's and TAKE OFF!!!

Arguably the best Batman film to come out in 2016
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No lie arguably the best Batman film to come out in 2016. I first saw this movie in theaters for its' one night fathom events showing and I thought it was better then Batman v Superman, The Killing Joke, and Suicide Squad. The makers of this film found a way to both poke fun of Batman 66' and pay respect to it. A huge plus is they got surviving members Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar to reprise their roles from the old tv show. My only negative is that since Frank Gorshin has passed, that they would had gotten John Astin to voice The Riddler instead of hiring someone new. Also like the past couple of D.C. animated movies, the only @ Best Buy exclusive is another mini graphic novel. The book consist of first seven stories of the trade paperback Batman '66 Vol. 1. I highly recommend you get this movie and if you can buy the only @ Best Buy version.

Best Batman Movie!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fans of the classic Batman TV show will be delighted that all the classic gags and moments from the old Batman TV Series are faithfully included. As this film progresses, it transforms into something really meaningful that uses the original show as a springboard for its own important message. The likenesses of the classic actors have been captured brilliantly, and the art and animation is brilliant! This is a smart, beautiful, fun movie that will remind you of why we love classic Batman so much. This is a way more entertaining and engaging film than either of Batman's live action efforts this year.

Good for nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone born in the 60's, I remember the Batman TV series. I didn't know what camp was. I thought they were serious. I thought superheroes were duly deputized members of law enforcement. Of course I eventually learned what campy TV shows were about, and it sort of cheapened the impact for me. But when I saw this video, it really did bring me back to the old TV series. The only one missing, of course, was Batgirl, which was both sad and understandable given Yvonne Craig passed away not too long ago. The story is a bit long, but the various homages to the series were worth the wait. It was a joy to hear three of the original actors return to their characters, and that's really the redeeming quality of this special.
