Definitely a marked improvement from the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of the game both with it's graphics upgrade and frame rate. While there were a few people complaining about it being lower in graphics detailing then to the PS3/Xbox 360 I can tell you that's a bunch of hooey as this is pretty equal to what we saw with the a few games like Tomb Raider The Definitive Edition and The Last Of Us when you compared those games from the PS4/XBO versions to the earlier PS3/Xbox 360 versions and the audio has been improved pretty well too. The only small complaint I have is that the XBO set has the two games which are on separate discs stacked on top of one another still why you couldn't have one disc on separate flaps of the game case instead like they did with the PS4 version? Other then that small complaint the games run great no stuttering during gameplay and don't see any lagging or framerate drops but like I've mentioned before on another game review I'm not one of those framerate fanatics who sticks their head one inch from the screen to see if there's a slowdown in the game during certain events. So even if you have these two games for the PS3/Xbox 360 I still say this is definitely worth getting for fans of the game, for fans of Batman or just those looking for a great action game with one of the biggest bada$$e$$ of the DC Universe.

I don't even know where to begin with this game (I guess technically it'd be these games, since it comes with 2). I personally never played the original games from last generation, I had a hard time getting into them back in. But it's been a long time since then and immediately when I started playing them this go around I found myself thinking "why the heck did I not play these before?!" The combat in these games was so original and fluent at the time, and holds up well to today's standards, mainly because many of today's games still use this combat style. It really makes you feel like an overpowered bada$$ when you get some long combos going. There's also the stealth aspect of this game, which is really why I think I didn't like these games initially. I've never been a huge fan of stealth in video games, but as I've grown so have my gaming interests and the stealth in this game is pretty darn good, and not too difficult. Story is a little bit lacking if you ask me, but with how good the gameplay is, it doesn't bother me at all. Overall both games are really great and this is definitely worth the price. Only downside is that there is no multiplayer, other than the challenge rooms, so there isn't a whole lot of replayability here. Go out and play this if you haven't already!

      An Unjustifiable Remaster

Batman: Return to Arkham Asylum 3.2/5 Batman: Return to Arkham City 4.4/5 Batman: Return to Arkham Asylum brings back the beloved story from 2009. The remaster however is not justifiable. The remastered graphics may look impressive, but the new Batsuit is not correctly designed. Batman's head looks far too square and he looks more angry compared to the original. I would not recommend this to anyone who has previously experienced Arkham Asylum. Batman: Return to Arkham City brings back the enticing and rich story from 2011. The remaster however is not justifiable. The remastered graphics bring some new effects and sharper teextures, but they are not that much better than they were in 2011. Once again, the Batsuit is not completely designed correctly; Batman's head is square but his expression remains similar to the original. I would not recommend this to anyone who has previously played Arkham City.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There weren’t many available at the store. Performance/Gameplay: My review is for the PS4. It doesn’t matter if you have played this game before or not. This remastered of both games is spectacular. The update on the graphics is very good, the game looks way better than the original. The upgrade on the sound is out of this world, fighting, shooting and the Joker’s voice, they all sound great. I strongly recommend that you also play Batman: Arkham Knight, which is the last part of the trilogy and is the best of them all!!!!! (at least for me). Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door. I ordered it online and used the ‘pickup at store’ process and didn’t have any issue at all, the game was ready for pickup when I arrive.

This game really fun on the last gen consoles, but the only reason really you get this game is to get more achievements / trophies on your belt, or you didn't get the chance to play it on last gen consoles. It doesn't add anything to the game and that's really a good thing because there wasn't anything wrong with the original and it is fun do play this game over again just to see batman in high def. Good game to play if you haven't played already

I was impressed with how much the graphics were redone for this version of the original games. It was fun being able to go back through all the original levels, and play with a much more realistic view in the game. The game comes with two separate discs for the two different games. Each comes with the content of the original games plus the DLC. It was worth the full value of the retail price, and has enough content to keep you busy for at least 40-80 hours.

I will admit that I didn't rememeber much of asylum other than the fact that I'd beat it when it first came out. The game has held up pretty well but the real star is arkham city. That game is and will more than likely always make me top 5 in favorite games of all time. The story is awesome, game play is crisp and it's hard to put down once you've started. Add in all the visual upgrades and dlc and this was worth every penny

Its great to be able to play this game at 1080p and with a steadier framerate than when it was on last-gen systems, plus it comes with everything for both games in one package. I would prefer if it looked exactly the same as the previous, though, as there are some minor artistic changes that are mildly disappointing.
