Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) clash over differing philosophies about what kind of heroism is needed to protect the world, while the public they're defending is becoming increasingly mindful of the damage that superheroes and masked vigilantes cause. However, the duo are soon forced to confront an even greater threat created by nefarious billionaire Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also co-stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred the butler, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.~Jack Rodgers

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [Blu-ray]
Its almost there, with a good cast, fun and easy to follow storyline this checks a lot of the A/V marks however there is a issue. This set comes with a nice hologram style cover, a 3D BR, regular BR and a Digital Copy which would be great if you had a faster than 10Mbit internet connection. Many of the movie companies are doing this trick now where they know that many people still like the DVD, be it so you can watch it on you PC while working or surfing, or on a plane, in the car, etc, because even if you have a blu ray drive in you PC and Laptop (like I do) you still have a very hard time to find the right player (still haven't found a good one yet) so you can't use the blu ray disks in the set and if you don't have anything but a faster than fast internet connection you might as well give the HD Digital Copy to a friend with one because you will only get frustrated trying to watch it. The movie companies are already cutting corner by having the disks made in Mexico (just check, 90% or more of the TV shows, and Movies on the shelf have "Made in Mexico" cleverly printed on the back were it is hard to see) so let's get the DVD's back in the mix. We know that people still want them because i see Blu Ray & HD Digital or DVD & HD Digital, were you used to get Blu Ray, DVD & HD Digital all in one, or if it was a 3D movie then you would usually get all those and a 3D Blu Ray disk as well. For the prices that they are charging ($24.99 to $44.99, which is outrageous for a none steelcase without a DVD disk) so I am sure they can afford to add a 15-20 cent DVD version with you $35 3D Blu Ray combo, we just need to let them know.
Having seen the theatrical cut in the the theaters I thought the movie was great ( which I am a die hard fan and collector of everything Superman ) so when I heard that there would be an extended cut on Blu Ray although it was being called the Ultimate Edition I knew that I had to own it ASAP. Although the film got bad reviews from critics that don't know a good film when they see it I would tell you the buyer to not listen to the critics at all but listen to the other fans such as myself because this movie was a hit from day one of it's release. The reversible packaging is very cool and the fact that you also get both Blu Ray copies of the theater and extended cuts of the film plus the DVD copy of the theater version you also get the digital HD copies of the theater cut and the extended cut to take with you on your mobile device such as a smart phone or a tablet or a laptop so you can either stream or download a copy to enjoy while on the go.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Not a fan superhero movies but it was a 3D one.
Owned for 4 months when reviewed.
Found the previous one more engaging.
Passive 3D is the best projected on an OLED panel, 4K upscale.
Atmos mix is appreciated on a Blu-ray that was played on an Oppo with a 11.2 (7.2.4).
well at under $10
The stretchy wrapping that allows me to put a slit & repurpose it as a dust cover.
After decades of waiting to see the true Dark Knight opposite an onscreen Man of Steel, the delivery is truly audacious! After several through the denigration of the '60's West and Ward sitcom, Batman as he truly is and should be, both characteristically and visually, has been presented to the teeming masses! An all star hitter!
Regarding movie, I enjoyed it. Critics said the movie was too dark and lacked humor. Got to remember this movie was patterned after the Dark Knight trilogy which did well. I just felt that DC/Warner tried covering too much ground at once. It was a long movie based upon at least three separate storylines that each would've made good stand alone movies. Thought special effects in movie was done extremely well. Movie alone I would rate 4 stars.
Regarding the hard cover graphic novel and ultimate edition combo package:
For $40, I expected to get the $30 ultimate edition case plus a graphic novel. I bought online so guilty of buying before expecting. The inside of the back cover serves as the blue ray and ultimate blue ray disc slots and a small sticky sleeve for the DVD disc. It just makes it awkward to store entire graphic novel of different size with other DVDs\Blu-Rays. Also awkward to give graphic novel to kids with discs missing and having to store them in a generic case.
As mentioned earlier, the graphic novel is a hard cover. It's nice summary of about 3-4 different novels of "Greatest Battles". If you already collect many of the Batman Superman novels, this probably won't be a huge bonus for you. If don't, then would like
It does include a digital HD download redemption code.
If you are fine with that combination especially for disc storage arrangement, then guess it's OK for novelty. For myself, I would've been fine with just the $30 Ultimate Edition set.
The recommendation of No is for the Ultimate Edition & Graphic Novel set. For the movie alone, the recommendation would be a Yes. You would enjoy it.

BvS Steelbook +
The Steelbook is pretty well packaged. Batman on one side; flip the case and it's Superman.
Re disc: most of the additional 30 minutes (from the extended version) are at the beginning of the film. Otherwise, it is still the same film seen at the theatre.

The Dark Knight VS The Son of Krypton
I thought the movie was ok when I watched it in the theater. The Blu Ray has the extended cut, which is a much better cut of the movie. Great visuals and audio make this a must have! Great for showing off your home theater system!
