      Better than expected

So few if any audiophiles would rate any Beats a 5/5. This is usually with the justification that you can get the same quality of sound if not better for less money from other brands. I rate them a 5/5 because the sound is very good (what you expect if you've heard them before). Build quality is better and much more refined than the original. I really enjoy them. They are pricy but that's why this option (refurbished) is so great. I personally think the sound is very good, albeit a bit bass heavy. I've had several sets of semi pricey ($100-$400) headphones from Sony, Bose, Sennheiser, and the original Studio 1s over the years and I think these fit a niche that they own very well. That niche being good sound quality (decent range and clarity) *much better on the 2s than the originals* and the overall sound amplifying that low frequency bass heavy end of the sound spectrum that many people enjoy accenting when they listen to music. It's not overwhelming by any means. I have a pair of Sony MDR-XB950BT's that I purchased a few months back for approximately $200 new that hit noticeably harder at the low end but they lack a great deal of the overall clarity these have. As far as what to expect with refurbished Beats Studio 2s, mine came in quickly and with all the accessories. I don't see a single blemish, scratch, stain, odd anything on them anywhere. They look like they were just opened/new out of the original box. I went with a matte color partially because the others tend to scratch easier. I was playing the odds more or less. Ive listened to roughly 20 hours of music since I got them and they have no odd attributes that a user would chalk up to them being refurbished/used/repaired. Essentially these are very solid, (in my case) nothing about them gives any hint that they aren't brand new outside of the manufacturers original packaging being opened. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I don't usually purchase refurbished items but these were a homerun.

I was very excited to purchase my first ever Beats product. And this Beats Studio Wireless Metallic Sky really satisfied me. The look is fantastic and just second to none. The bluetooth is so convenient to pair and doesn't affect the quality of the sound and the versatility of having a bluetooth and a wire mode are just amazing. The accessories are still intact and well built. The hard shell is very sturdy and i think is enough to protect the headphone. The headphone is comfortable because of it's super soft leather foam. And finally, the sound is great. May not be the sound i was expecting for an expensive pair of headphones but it's still better compared to other headphones and earphones. I love a punchy bass and this pair gives me that, especially when i use an equalizer, it sounds awesome. There may be some cons about the sound but i can still give it a thumbs up and a five star rating for the overall experience.

The sound, cancellation and volume stands out amongst other headphones but the quality of durability is another subject I purchased this item and was only able to wear them a total of 10 times max before the left side of the headphones came apart and is now only hanging by a wire after contacting Apple I was told that 2 screws were missing and it will be to costly to repair. I was told them by the representative tomourchase a new pair after only have these for 3months. The headphones are in brand new condition but I am unable to use them bc two screws are to costly for them to repair. I was told by bestbuy and Apple that it’s nothing that can be done but purchase another pair. this is my 3rd pair of beats and I will never purchase another pair.

The headphones are great but be prepared

The headphones sound great! They are everything I was hoping for at a better price than buying brand new. My disappointment is with Best Buy. The description specifically stated "what comes in the box" and listed was a power adapter and a USB cord to recharge the headphones, things that are supposed to come standard with a new set. These two items didn't show up in the box. When I emailed and asked to have the proper items be sent to me I was told that they were sorry and offered me a $20 gift card to get the missing items (which would not be original manufacturer products.) If I didn't like that option, I was basically told "tough, take the $20 or return them." Looking on their website, you can't get a decent cable/power plug set (I don't want these $200+ phones to fry after 3 charges with a cheap cord and plug) for under $24.99 and that is before tax. If a different box had been pulled to ship to me, would this have happened? All I wanted was the Beats headphones and all original items that were promised. I would recommend the headphones for their sound, but I also warn to prepare yourself for dealing with Best Buy.

I've always wanted to try Beats Studios. After trying them I'm not disappointed. They are comfortable. However, after wearing them for 30 minutes or so, your ears (and-what-not) begin to sweat and feel overheated. After about an hour you can start to feel the pressure squeezing against your face and jaws. I'm happy with the sound quality. Another complaint I'll mention is that they are extremely hard to pair with my phone and iPad mini. That's very frustrating and can take several times to get them paired. The build quality seem good. I bought these refurbished and couldn't be happier with the $100.00 savings. They came with original packaging and accessories as if they were NEW. I would recommend these despite the minor irritations listed previously.

I love to listen to audiobooks while vacuuming, steam-cleaning, doing laundry, etc., and my standard iphone headphones require me to turn up the volume tremendously (probably not a great idea for my long-term hearing). These headphones do not eliminate all outside noise, but I rarely have to turn up the volume more than a touch in these situations. Love them. My only complaint is that they are not optimal for answering phone calls while listening. I still have to hold my phone close to make sure the caller can hear me. But since I didn't buy them for this reason, it is not worth losing a star! Also, they are super-comfortable, beautiful and my kids are actually jealous and want their own. They think I'm cool. (I'm really not.) :)

Like everyone else I was kind of skeptical about purchasing a refurbished item knowing the risk that could be involved. Other reviews made me hesitate seeing that something was defective with their item. I've been wanting some over the ear headphones at a reasonable price and I went ahead and went through with the purchase. I must say that this is probably one of the best purchases I've made. The headphones came in the original box packaged just like it would've been if I purchased it new. Everything was in brand new condition. I tested the headphones for several hours before writing this review. I must say I was very impressed, the music was crisp and clear, the bass was nice and loud, I have no complaints what so ever.

Product was an open box item. Visually looked good. Sounded good when using bluetooth, but when using the cable with the phone mic, not good. Had to keep adjusting it every now and then to stop it from cutting in and out. Tried returning it within 15 day period but wasnt able to because the serial number on the box did not match the one on the headphones. Tried doing it thru mail but then it was already too latr and past the return period. So i am stuck with them and have to purchase a new cable, which I might have to go thru Amazon because it seems like they dont sell them separately on the best buy website
